Absolutely great watch from beginning to end. The editing styles of joe and lisandro are very different but then again complimentary. I loved to see so many technical stunts by barney, especially the lc wallride was probably my favorite of the video. Everyone had great stuff, mags and bumps en masse.
Thanks for inviting me  :P

This was awesome. Loved the song choice and the edit was super clean. Great job pulling this off considering the spontaneity of us organizing this just a couple days ago
Standouts were rainbow's taxi boost, gryz's everything, mts firetruck grind, sorcery's combo, turbo's taxi precs, zero's mag and simon's triple
Merry christmas boys :a-cheer:

0:30 - Dam double grind: Great stunt to start it off. Would have liked to see more of the run-up to better understand the stunt but really liked the execution.

0:40 - Wallbonk to court house: Nice. Why do I feel like I have seen this before

0:47 - Curb bump to ledge grind: Great idea and execution

0:58 - Drop wallride to grind: Sweet, looks fun to try

1:05 - Bridge double grind: Such a sick grind. Love the 180 on the transition. Very clean

1:14 - P2B to apartment block: Just massive. Always love to see that roof landed from a new angle. I guess the run-up was perfect for it

1:24 - Back tankbump to apartment block: Another great find and execution. Massive recoil to a classic roof. Love to see it

1:32 - Airport wallride to grind: Sweet

1:44 - Drop to quad BB grind: Doesn't look as difficult as the other stunts but I still like the idea

1:54 - Cherry double grind on BB: Great combo and I appreciate that you managed to land on the small roof haha. Lovely

2:05 - Drop stoppie to grind: I've been looking for spots to use the stoppie method on and this one looks like it was destined for it. Great find

2:22 - Grind to ledge to box prec: Absolutely insane. Dinner's served: Cherry stomped

2:42 - Skimmer bump to high ledge: Like the transition here a lot. And is this the first landing of that roof without gravmod? Massive stunt once again.

2:56 - PSM to Hyman stairwell: Nice. Doesn't beat the vent landing but still a great addition to the vid

3:05 - Oversized back tankbump: Thought you were going for a mag, that would have blown me away. Great stunt

3:14 - Skimmer bump by the water: Another massive one. Skimmer bumps aren't my favorite, however I do like how it is utilized here. Would have liked another cam angle but I get the cinematic idea with the song. You make these stunts look too easy!

3:25 - Icecream bump to prec: Clean af

3:34 - PSM MAG: WTF!! you're a madman. The way you grabbed onto that roof with rotation and your player model touching the roof in the midst of it was butter

3:43 - PSM grind bonk grind: such a clever idea and find

3:53 - P2B airport ledge grind: That's a screamer. I was hoping to see this roof grinded properly one day and you delivered. I was surprised how long you stayed in the grind, that was nutty

4:05 - Skimmer bump Moist Palms: Almost overflew that

4:15 - PSM MAG to grind: What a beauty of a stunt. another fantastic idea and execution

4:27 - PSM hotel prec: Looks really tough. Great job sticking this to the ledge. Higher part possible ? :ninja:

4:38 - Trashmaster bump to radio prec: Finally someone landed this antenna. Your approach looks so obvious now that I see the setup with the trashmaster haha creative find and clean landing on a sketchy prec. Fantastic

4:47 - PSM to ship antenna prec: Sick stunt to end it on. Feels like there have been a lot of psm's back to back (or stuck methods in general) which I am generally not a fan of but it doesn't get rid of the fact that this is a fantastic stunt with clinical execution. I can appreciate the dedication you have to this game even after all these years. This was a wild ride

Music: I really enjoyed the song choice throughout. Transitions were done really well, the whole vid had a great flow & the stunts fitted well to the ambience of the songs

Editing: Fantastic editing by jason who delivered a great example of the power of simon's replay tool. Many clever angles that made the video look even more surreal than it already was. The effects were well chosen and not overdone, the stunts and cam angles spoke for themselves.
Overall a great australian powerhouse production :euro:

Absolutely fantastic additions once again. Also enjoy to read through your changelogs and really understand the functionality/use cases. Your explanations are spot on
Thanks Dannye!

What a fun watch this one was. Simon's tool and his utilization of it was amazing to see and Puzzle did a great job editing his part as well. I loved the intro/midtro/outro scenes, glad I could contribute something with that simple script. Really digging the community vid vibes with the classic banners as well
Stunting wise Dannye, Rainbow, Ltab, Krypton, Haywire, Sorcery and Turbo really pulled through with some great ideas and executions but there were gems from others as well (just the ones that I can recall rn)
It's great to see how many stunts were sent in for this especially considering the short time frame this was organized and edited in. Wish I had some more time to stunt in my 48h (and more luck to land my spots). Let's do it again sometime :P
Big up

Fantastic editing and a well-chosen soundtrack. The futuristic old-school sounds of 90s jungle/intelligent dnb just fit so nicely into the landscape of AC. Really clean and smooth cam angles + the subtle but fitting effects made this a great watch
As for the stunting part, everyone had solid stunts but some standouts were fighter's double grind, sorcery's grinds, zero's double, fighter's p2b at 4:55, krypton's p2b and rainbow's boost (I actually landed on your prec whilst trying to land on the precision on the opposite side (which I then landed from a different approach as seen in the vid haha))
great job everyone!

One of the best vids I've ever watched. Amazing shit. I don’t remember the last time I had goosebumps from stunt video  :o . Nice to see you landed some of the spots I tried to land for Mean Machines. Beautiful vid out of nowhere  :ajaja:.

p.s. Can you tell me how you setup packer? Do you respawn packer and load it on position after each attempt or you somehow do it easer and faster? thx.

Thanks Sport! Some of the stunts landed in the video (like the 2nd part opener) were done by setting up the packer manually each try, but ever since Prog released his Powersave version for vc (https://www.gtastunting.net/index.php?topic=71290.0) that's what I've been using which has been a major game changer, especially for packerbumps or any vehicle that explodes and needs to be reset

good video
maked live review, but didn't like it

also lost p2b
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvOmXNQApNA&ab_channel=Zallbeast

Bummer to not see your reaction but gj on landing this. I was surprised you would bump so far on the right which would guarantee yourself to fly into the wall of the building but it seems it worked out just fine

Best tank video ever.
Cant imagine the patience it went to make this. Knowing the potential of the tank Im not as surprised as some other viewers by the airtime and the holy roofs landed, but MAN hands down for the time and effort you put into this. Seeing good tank stunts these days is a rarity and you provided quite the entertainment.
Definitely goes into the category of legendary solos, Im very happy to see those huga ass roofs landed (taxi fellows can make a good use of the rhino on some of them for some new taxi boost gaps or distance landings)

Not that it matters much, but I lost at least 4 spots that I had close attempts/bails, its not the first time I mention this but we think almost alike for tank stunts lmao. And Beast's tank p2b which he lost was also a spot of mine

Thanks V! I know you like to step into a tank more often than not and was worried I'd lose some of my stunts in the last dss vid which luckily didn't happen :P I'm curious to know/see which of those spots you thought of and came close to land yourself

Masterful and classy. Truly phenomenal work of developing your scripts and storyline around the stunts, e.g. the finisher and opener. Wonderful camera work as always (especially with the attempts in the outro).

Natural stuff was fucking crazy and looked super stylish, e.g. the bridge2double palm ramp (5:06), the treebump LC watergap (6:00), act i's finisher, & LV Church watergap (genius runup). But that's not to say the packer or stuck spots were nuts too (how did you stuck the rhinos tho?).

I liked the takes on spots from Burn's Meditation too, like the LC watergap 2 dock or the SF Hospital roof, those were killer. Attention to detail e.g. the "act" text and the proper ATC transmissions was a cool touch.

The soundtrack was a perfect choice. Nice to see newer Deftones stuff in videos, especially with such great use of subtle and clean editing to accommodate it (great CC by the way, loved the color-changes). Your editing has always been on point, unique and creative; definitely hit the mark in this video (6:00 was such a cool in-theme transition, as was all of the transitions with similar camera angles or the pre-finisher)

I would like to see that nat LC Casino spot landed to the precision but I'm sure we'd have to wait until 2030 at minimum  Also your runup of the second act's opener totally had me expecting a lighthouse landing.

Certainly the best tank video ever made. Sad that the SA rhino is inferior in terms of it's possibilities. You truly demonstrated the highest of possibilities from the tank in VC; truly a remarkably memorable video. Great work as always!

A few notes here as well, the Rhinos were stuck like regular CSM's, all you need is a curb/ledge in front as bumping into them on flat ground is like crashing into a wall.
About the LC Casino spot.. despite me getting the height several times, the bump and rotation you get from that spot is very unpredictable, aiming for the prec, let alone landing it is a feat I don't see done any time soon :D But if I get motivated enough I might just give that spot a re-visit

Thanks to everyone leaving a comment and watching the video, reading through all of your posts is rewarding to say the least. Faiz and Nerve deserve mentions for their extensive comments, Rainbow and Zero for the full reviews and Kingjad + Krypton for the live reactions, loved watching those

For any editors out here, these are the LOD fixes of the tank which have the turret face to the back instead of the front if the camera moves too far away from the tank. I feel like it's only appropriate to share these as a general fix: https://mega.nz/file/EA9GTabI#PfukfQyerLeNJgf1LcMrMiZ93zV9fOMNhweOidYy94U

Modus Operandi Public Section / Max - Vigilante
« on: June 14, 2021, 07:51:10 AM »

After a year of dedication it is needless to say I'm happy to present my new solo "Vigilante" which has finally reached its completion.
In the spring of 2020 I found myself spending a lot of time stunting for various projects and was primarily indulged in tank stunting as I kept on finding (and landing) more and more spots which ultimately gave me the motivation to shoot for a tank only solo. With the first stunt landed in April of 2020 and the last landed in May of 2021, this has been by far the most effortful and time consuming project throughout the entirety of my stunting career.

In the spirit of continuing the tradition, feel free to leave a live reaction if you feel inclined to. I would defo be happy to see/hear your reactions and comments!

Special thanks go out to Rainbow for being a good friend and co-pilot in this project whom I shared spot ideas, video betas and all of my progression of this video with, MtS for helping me with the intro, Haywire for the custom textures and LOD fix of the tank, Kingjad for lending his voice despite him being ill and Dannye for his Freeplay updates which found extensive usage in this video and for being a pioneer with the first tank solo released back in 2006.
