Modus Operandi Public Section / Re: ZeRo - The Wind And The Sun

This is one of the best solo videos ever published. Only second to Barney's, if even to them. I enjoyed every bit of the video, and the fact that all stunts were natural. Nothing else involved but the bikes, the way I like it.

You managed to scour the terrain and find new extremely creative approaches to the map. Those double grinds were stunning, especially the one in 1:05 and in 2:06, of which the latter one was definitely my fauvorite stunt in the whole video. Other stunts worth mentioning are the drop bumps at 0:58, 1:45, 2:28 (WOW) and 4:15 (double WOW). Also the finisher was amazing, when acknowledging the hard terrain you had to drive through.

Song fitted the video perfectly; I don't believe any other song catches as mesmerizingly the 1980s Vice City vibe as She Sells Sanctuary. Camera angles were good. The main point of this video wasn't editing, but I think some warm colour correction would not have spoiled it.

In the end, fantastic video. Job well done. I am very delighted that YouTube algorithms suggested me this video.

It is delightful to see an older generation of stunters collaborating with newer ones. Great video. Enjoyed watching it. Love to find out that the stunting scene still exists and is still finding new ways to explore possibilities that old games have to offer.

Thank you for your feedback :]. All these songs are composed by me. If someone is interested, I will dare you to count the time signatures on 1st and 2nd. Hint: 2nd isn't written on 4/4 althought it may sound so.

I decided to release my songs which I sent to the Sibelius Academy. Composed in 2013-2014 and recorded in rush day before they were meant to be there. That's why there is disturbing monotonous noise on the background. Enjoy and feel free to share. Recorded on Cubase 5 and Korg Kronos.

Well that's the reason then. If they were aimless random stunts, then I'm not suprised that it is so hard to remember any of them.

As I said in secret MO skype convo (shh...) the thing which I admire in Barney the most is his extraordinary ability of persistence and patience. In my opinion, that is the biggest reason why Barney differs from rest of us. I could even say that he has so niche skill, that you are able to write his name and the rest (including Magnus Carlsen and maybe Garry Gasparov) to single A4 paper, or atleast with the smallest font. Absolute monk status. I believe, that whatever he is doing, this ability makes him better than others. Not saying that he is also pushing the limits every single time, which is of course another reason why he is beyond others.

When it comes to stunting, these stunts are beyond everything. First time when I watched this video, it felt that some stunts were fillers. Now as I have seen this video multiple times, I can see their purpose. They give nice variety. It also seems that Barney loves double grinds, and I'm impressed how he keeps finding them. I also love it, how the concepts behind some stunts are actually quite simple, eg drop bumb to grind near hyman stadium and the drop bumb at the docks in VC. People keep looking for stunts and go for these areas, and yet no one hasn't noticed these spots (or atleast landed). In my eyes, that is amazing. Then there were also super creative ideas, like the opener, stoppie prec and cocks stadium prec.

I can't really point out which stunt was my fauvorite. The more I think, the more equal they look. There was fantastic equilibrium trough the video. I am truely astonished.

I have question for the artist himself. As you said yourself, Unsual Cruelty was more like "fun vid" for you, because it contained SAiVC stunts. Still people thought it was the best video ever. Now people think the same, but this video didn't have any SAiVC stunts. Was this fun vid, or was it more serious one? Also I want to know, what keeps you going after all these years? You might be the only still active member from 2004. You logged last time in "March 27, 2013, 01:19:33 PM", but still you keep stunting, even without keeping any contact with the forum. What is your driving force, and what's the secret behind your "monk status"? I understand that everyone must have a hobby, but this question keeps bugging me from time to time.

Funny editing test, when the intro takes 50% of the whole video. And it's only text.

What an awful video. This wasn't even a stunt video, but video where someone shows off his editing skills. Nice job, but you failed in the most important part when it comes to stunting videos: the actual stunts. There were moments when you weren't able to tell where the stunt starts, where it ends and what happens between them.

I had to edit my post, because I commented only editing, not actual stunts. Dipper's police bumb to VRock sign was awesome. Actually it's quite funny to see, that he might be even the first one who knows how to use that method in VC. What I can recall, I have seen it quite rarely. Then there were some stunts, which didn't feel like stunt, eg Shingetsu's ramp thing. Still this was really decent video. I wish you happy times with GTA.

I watched first time in my life Matrix previous weekend. Then I decided to watch the whole trilogy. I seriously got hooked to it! I'd really want to know, what was the thing what you (Neo) loved in it? Was it that awesome plot, ontology where it based, those special effects or something else? Besides that awesome and really clever plot, I loved that love story between Trinity and Neo. No kidding, it was one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen, and I can't describe why! It might been the fact that since the first moment I saw Trinity, she looked just as Neo and they looked like they could be married in real life.

Edit: I don't know if you have analyzed the trilogy, but I'd really like to know what was the purpose of Agent Smith philosophically. What was his purpose on the whole system? If Neo was error in the system, doesn't that mean that Agent Smith was also an error too? Why he survived after Neo destroyed him in first movie, and why did he complete his task if he wasn't anymore a program? Also how did he manage to get into real world and affect on Bane? What happened after Neo was killed in third movie?

My purpose isn't to be asinine, I'm just interested and maybe you could answer. Any contingent right answer will be fine! I still might ask more questions after you/anyone-else-who-knows-something answer tho..
