[MTS] Haywire - Interview
« on: April 20, 2008, 03:21:54 AM »
Where did you get your name from? (Godson, Balance)

I watched Prison Break one day, seriously. I sometimes think my name is corny but whatever, I've got it now.

How did you start/find stunting? (Snowman, various others)

I was at my cousin's house, and we were just watching random videos. He then played 'Hostility' by Southern Finest, and I was determined to recreate the stunts I just saw. After making a few lame videos and posting them on GTAForums, I went onto VCMP and mucked around, where I found Torque attempting the downtown BSM he did in 'Survive'. He told me about GTAStunting.com, and I signed up on Christmas eve. The rest is history.

How did you got into modeling and skinning? (StuntKing)

I've always been a fiddly kinda guy, so I just gotta find out ways to change games. I've modded all kinds of games; GTA1, 3, VC and SA, Test Drive 6, Motorcross Madness 2, Monster Truck Madness 2, the list is endless. Out of everthing GTA is the most flexible game to mod. Only recently have I started making decent models for SA, and believe it or not I inspired BurnoutLS13 to start skinning.

What are your thoughts on the future of stunting? Can it continue to thrive? (Hachiro)

Of course it can. In my opinion stunting isn't completely about finding new spots. There are plenty of different methods and vehicles to perform stunts, allowing you to make numerous variables on old spots, plus there are plenty of quirky stunts or hidden runups to be found. The SA stunting scene has 3 different cities to stunt in, and VC will be the same soon, plus the release of GTAIV is only a matter of days away. How can it not thrive?

What's your opinion about "old" stunts? (Gabe)

My opinion is: Who cares. If that's the stunt the stunter wanted to land, who are we to hold him back? If I land an old stunt, it's because I see it as an achievement if I do. People can bitch and moan all they want in the video release thread, I won't give a shit.

Favourite flavour of ice cream? (Kingjad)

Chocolate? Bubblegum? I'm not sure, but it's definately close between those.

Why do you hate noobs so much? I've noticed in the past year or two posting numerous times how much you dislike them. (Rocka)

Because most of them are just straight out useless. Nothing decent comes out of their... fingers. Plus there are next to none stand-out stunters with a member number over 2500, with the exception of some very good stunters, even if they try to convince me otherwise. Yes Ray, I'm talking about you, so shut up already!

Why did you leave WH for a joke excuse of a crew? (Torque)

And where, might I ask, is YOUR crew Torque? WHERE IS IT? WHO'S THE JOKE NOW.

Do you see red? (Krow)

WHEN MY BABY'S WALKING DOWN THE STREET
I SEE RED I SEE RED I SEE REDDDD
HOW CAN SOMEONE WICKED WALK 'ROUND FREE
I SEE RED I SEE RED I SEE REDDDD
I SEE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDD
I SEE RED
HEY!

What is/are your favorite band/bands? And why do you like them? (El Wray)

I don't like to think I have a favourite 'band', but more of a 'taste'. There are many bands I like that aren't in the same genre, all having different sounds. Some standout bands would have to be Fear Factory; fast paced, hard hitting but with minimal screaming, and Darren Styles; fast, enjoyable dance music that you can listen to at any time.

Do you feel you have inspired others with your stunt videos? (Rev)

I'd like to think so. I don't mean to boast but I have achieved some pretty awesome feats.

Besides YX and our collab, got anything for us to be excited about soon? (Rocka)

Well, depending on the future, do Spiengraph 2 and Abolition 2 sound exciting enough? Now that you've read this colibri, it's gotta happen.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WARHEADS (Feron)

I FEEL THEY ARE VERY VERY EVIL AND I REGRET EVER TASTING ONE. IT TURNED MY FACE INSIDE OUT AND I CRIED.

How would you definite a stunter? (NuclearDeath)

Respectful, Contributive and striving to be Unique. Following these you'll get the green name in no time.

Thanks for the answers Haywire .

Sorry but I can't answer every single question. If it wasn't answered then it was similar to another question, or I didn't feel like answering.

@ Ocean: Well, Sweet likes you, so you must be alright. Plus with that quote in your sig, how can I hate you.
