The 'other stuff' was kinda necessary, it's a brand new start! Before playing I had to establish a squad first. Next vid will have gameplay though :-)

To me the game was slightly stop-start...odd. Played a friendly today against someone else on my friends list and it seemed smoother. I'm strengthening the 150s btw - I'm getting some BEAST players for such a cheap price!

Tomorrow's video will explain it, actually - but to help you out if you are struggling yourself, I went and made a bronze team, went into single-player tournaments and entered that stupidly easy bronze cup - after that I got it.

My fifa is so bugged that i had to uninstall it, cause it freezes after/before every match, or even in the menu. EA can suck my dick.
If you will start building a better gold team, use a 3 defender formation (3-5-2) is the best. 3 defender formations have stronger defense than 4 ones, cause there are 3 center backs. Plus there are more midfielders, and also left/right midfielders. Way better than 4-2-3-1.

I'm trying to earn enough coins to build a gold team. What you're forgetting is that I have no access to the web app as it will not let me log in at all to that, so missed out on a lot of free stuff there to help get me started, and my starter packs had poor players with Shay Given my best (good keeper but only sells for less than 1000 sometimes).

As I type this I'm sitting on 13,525 coins. I'm trying to do some trading and I MIGHT buy a gold pack and risk my coins to see if I get anyone that'll get me a lot of coins.

Arguably 4-2-3-1 is the most defensive formation then as the 2 CDMs help the 4 defenders!

Personally I aim to build a gold 4-2-2-2 side. I opened two gold packs, and got fuck-all. So now I'm skint again!

..in 12 i used 4-3-1-2, but i didn't need any defensive mids cause i had marcio azevedo, chiellini/lucio, thiago silva and abate/cicinho back :lol:
Now in 13 im selling my team, including biabiany or aubameyang, just to make more money till i get my fifa fixed..

Lol aye I'm glad I got some payback on them too, I'm still annoyed about the first game - I swear EA intentionally screws me over. It forced my own player to run in front of the goal to block my shot! WHAT THE HELL! HOW IS THAT ATTACKING AI?!?

Was really looking forward seeing that Mexican squad in action, nice little sneak peek there. Benitez looks like such a lovely player.

Also that Serie A squad was an absolute killing machine, had no idea Milito was that good but that dribble right after the kickoff was amazing.

luli I don't know what you mean by 'new record', could you please explain?

Genyus thanks for your kind words, no doubt my Serie A squad is IMO my strongest but I still have the urge to continually build new squads. I have 3 'big' squads right now as well as my back-up Scottish Bronze team that I'll likely never sell, I doubt I'll sell the full Serie A squad but I may try to turn it into a hybrid at a later time so I keep guys like Abate, De Rossi, Milito etc while strengthening other areas. The Mexican league squad has a lot of potential to be my absolute favourite but the one drawback is that they do feel weak in strength, they're bullied too easily sometimes and if I'm against a higher-rated side and that player is as good as I am, I'll need some luck to get a result. I still have a squad I'm attempting to build properly - it's a hybrid Ivory Coast/Serie A squad but I'm not entirely happy with it, so I'll do a squad builder vid for that squad with a game or two and then I'll see if I should try to re-adjust the squad or just sell the whole lot and build an entirely brand new one.

Great team, mostly all of them are Brasilian. I am playing to FUT for around two weeks and I have already bought an amazing players including Błaszczykowski - he is a legend. Unfortunately I have only 150 coins at the moment and I can't even play because of the conctracts, which has ended for few players and acutally my manager aswell. Basically, all of coins collected from the very beginning has been spent on creating proper team. I recommend to buy Soldado or even Lewandowski who are my strikers, they are pretty good on their positions. Great video, looking forward to watch another. :P

Your 'Saving Scotland' series has got me to play a player career of my own. Never really thought it could be this much fun but playing as a CAM and trying to move the ball around creating chances really changes the way I normally play this game. Feels so much more like a real football match then when you control the entire team. Only downside is the AI, sometimes I get absolutely screwed over by my team while the other team doesn't seem to have a single problem.

It may depend on what difficulty you play on, but I am on legendary mode and it appears to just really lower the AI of your team while upping the AI of the opponents. I definitely feel the derpness of my team-mates when playing and it pisses me the hell off.
