Xbox 360 Saved Games
« on: July 27, 2010, 05:32:51 AM »
Hey everyone. So, I bought the new 250gb slim Xbox 360 yesterday, and as you may know, the harddrive is different from the old one, so I can't connect it to my new one. I've recovered my old gamertag and transferred all my downloadable content from that account, but there's one more thing I need and that's my saved games, and I have to get these.

So how do I transfer them?

You could try putting them onto a memory stick and putting that into your new xbox.

Yeah, but then I have to buy a memory stick... And a USB stick didn't work on my old Xbox for some reason. It would be awesome to get around this by transferring everything online, like you can with the DLC

You can get pretty cheap memory sticks, and if it says you have to configure it to xbox settings,do that, then if it says its not running at its best just ignore it, it said it for me too.

Yeah, that's what it said with the USB stick in the new Xbox, but on the old Xbox it doesn't even pop up in the memory for some reason...

I've tried to find information and ways to do this and the easiest way to do this is probably to buy the adapter which you can connect your old harddrive on and connect it to the new Xbox with an USB cable, so I think I'll go with that one
