Yeah, I tried both the cracked 1.0 and 1.1 exe's but they don't work :/

Nah, there's a no CD crack on the GTA Mods list so I don't think there's a reason to warn me because I'm asking for some help.

do u downloaded one because u got the wrong version of VC?

if u got the game vc and only download a CD crack its not illegal
i read it

btw had the same problem
after some months i stopped searching something for VC that i can install lc mod

I bought the game, lost the disk and tbh I'm too lazy to buy a new one.

Lol got the same problem. I still haven't been able to fix it.
You can just mount the vice city play iso in daemon tools and play like I do.

Deleting the audio folder makes it work for me.
