Title: GRANDMASTER HAYWIRE REVIVED.
Post by: Jason on November 15, 2019, 06:43:53 AM
I come bearing gifts.

The first gift is a revised fix of the PCJ, it features the tire pattern fix so each segment is facing the same way and it removes the unsightly white lines. I also tidied up the license plate mount and permanently removed the taillights. This bike will also come with the HD smooth body and darker engine as pictured. (because I'm too lazy to revert the txd back to original)

The second gift is a bit more radical. I'll let the picture speak for itself.

No problemo!

While I have this thread open I'll post this file - it's a 1024x1024 of the bike details and each part is on a seperate layer, so it's super quick and easy to make changes in Photoshop. I put a pretty heavy blur on everything, but this way you have highlighting and shadows for whatever texture you want to use instead.

Happy skinning!

Your fixed version can't be shown in GGMM unfortunately since that's where I usually do btw

Then perhaps you should try THIS!

I was told by fckR that the windscreen of the bike caused whacky transparency issues, to resolve that, I've remapped the windscreen to use the details texture. For whatever reason it doesn't want to be transparent for me, I THINK I've done the alpha settings in the txd right so in my mind it SHOULD be working. Maybe y'all know how to do it.

EDIT:

I got the transparency working, I am indeed a doofus. But the problem now is any other part of the bike that shares the same texture as the window becomes invisible, for example you're still able to see the handlebars and the body through the glass, but the speed/tacho gauges become invisible, or if you're doing a wheelie and looking through chasecam the headlight becomes invisible from the inside... For the most part it isn't noticeable, but if you're a stickler for details... maybe leave the glass really tinted yeah?
