Gaming Discussion / Re: This is Vice City
« on: June 05, 2015, 01:24:54 PM »
Not living in America it's really weird seeing these kinda things. Same with all the classic heist movies like Dog Day Afternoon. You look at this and go "did people really sit around in colorful suits and smuggle drugs, gang wars between cliché dressed immigrants?". First thing people tend to talk about when visiting a famous American city is "oh, this movie happened here".

SA is popular enough for that kinda thing to happen, but doubt it will for VC. People still mod cars and drift and shit in SA, whereas VC has very little compared (probably because it's not GANGSTA YO). I can kinda see it work in the SA engine because it more or less plays the same, getting lots of air from less than you would in VC, but honestly I doubt someone is gonna do it.

Watched the leaked ones at once, was a bit lost in the first normal release after it but the pretty hefty recap helped. Just finished ep 8. Certainly a good series but still a lot of filler for obvious reasons.

Never understood gimping yourself with a worse bike. There's clearly instances where the Bati is better, so why use the inferior bike?

Um. The logo was never used much anyway? Sure it's iconic and really well done (despite thinking it was a baseball bat over his shoulder and not a gun for years), but not like it's something that really means a lot to people. Now that we actually have a high quality one with renders available, maybe it'd actually be put into videos and what not.

G2A is the reason Ubisoft pulled a ton of cd keys, including those already activated on Steam. Their ads are fucking shit and their practice is shady.

The genre is so sketchy. As soon as anything CGI is revealed, it just turns into a scarejump fest. I heard The Descend was the worst of the worst, but as soon as it got bloody and the monster was revealed, it was just.. Boring.

I haven't watched Insidious but I've heard a lot of great things. Also watched that stupid pewdiepie promoted "As Above So Below", and it was actually quite good. It's a typical play on no-return and claustrophobia but it was actually genuinely good.

I dig the game but absolutely everyone plays on American servers, no matter what. Other than that it's a messy spectator game and never appealed much.

Whenever I return to VC it takes several days for tapping not to completely fuck up my hand. Thank god for leaning in V.

I think any live performance is an experience no matter how much you dislike the genre. Except unless like, you're into metal and go to see some soft-spoken gentleman on a piano. We only have one decent festival in Denmark, and it's still sort of old school. Bunch of old idiots on guitars, Stevie Wonder a few years ago, but they did add stuff like Major Lazer and typical top 40 artists. Still not really something I'd bother with.

 Kinda been considering this myself:

But don't really have anyone that'd come along. Really regret not going to Download '13. They legit have a killer line-up every single fucking year.

I've moderated a few wikis (mostly helped translate) and honestly, considering how little interest there is for this, I don't think an entire wiki would work much. Other than linking to other pages for each section to have it's own clean layout, I don't think it'd change much.

"To Everyone Mad: Jordi didn't intend for this stunt montage to be about the stunts. He was trying to create a cinematic movie showing how anything can be accomplished."

Uh. UH. Yeah, okay. I can go boost myself to heaven and beyond, doesn't mean it's impressive. God fucking damn I hate these GTA 5 lets players, not to mention this guy in general. I have an easier time sitting through pewdiepie vids, than all these people adopting his act.

Tried making a crew for salmon colored exhaust fumes. Not even the salmon pink harvested from the game files is the same color. Or rather, the social club doesn't go into that part of the color scheme. Forever cry.

This ones actually pretty nice. Still a fan of the rounded out silhouette style.

Pendji - the stunt you showed me via MP (the video) send it. I take it! this one is exactly the same as what I said to Fuski, Not a fan of the stunts where you fly over 2 times the height of the building. Although this one might be possible with a ruffian, so if you get it, I'll surely take it, because that's a really great spot
Talking about the tower or the building? Could try both with a weaker bike, seems possible.
