Sad SF and LV aren't making into the final thing

Countryside will be huge I bet... I just have to believe that awesome mountain is, let's say, climbable? It looks fuckin insanely high  :ajaja:
Damn this will be amazing... I think the area on V will be bigger then SA, how will they make the world boundaries? Water again? =/

If it's only LA based then it's not gonna be the Mount Chilliad I think, it's probably this mountain / mountains:

I doubt it's chilliad as that was the SF island last time but who knows.. though I will say, the mountain just looked weird to me, it looked like it had spines coming out of it 0.0

Also there was a guy screaming about how it's all a render in 3ds max or something at gtaf but that's not true, after being finally convinced that it was in game, he said the car knocking the other car in the chase proved that the physics were worse than IV's..

I can't respond to him but for anyone wondering why it looked like that, in GTA when scripted events take place, the physics don't get to work fully because the car needs to follow a certain path.

it happened in most every gta game if you need proof

True, Flatty. But it depends often whether or not it's a cinematic cut-scene, or a cut scene that's just played out in the typical environment - if ya follow.

Example: The opening cut of VC finishes with Tommy and Ken arriving outside Ken's office in a white Washington (if memory serves - it may have been a Sentinel), and that's no longer part of the cinematic, but rather just playing out in the game's environment. That car IS on a path, yeah, but it can be influenced by outside forces. I remember having the snowy streets mod in one time (which makes your car slide all over the place), and the white Washington went fishtailing past the camera and off screen. Poor Ken had to run a mile to get to his office.

The shot in the trailer does look like a cinematic cut, but even if it wasn't, this person is basing the entire game's physics on the behaviour of one car? If you hit a Blista Compact like that it would spin wildly because it's light.

I reiterate - what the hell is everyone's problem with IV's vehicle physics? The cars behave more believably than they do in SA, in my opinion.

Oh my god I started laughing at the forklift then just lost it with the woman running in circles LOL! so epic :D

Yeah I know that Kan, I remember being confused when ken missed the turn *it was an admiral btw* and slammed into the wall, I'll never forget that :D but those in game codes still tend to be a lot more sticky than normal driving, try and chase in SA and watch as the person you're following seems to be driving a slot car :P
