VC Chat & Support / Faggio / Pizzaboy collab« on: August 07, 2021, 10:05:02 AM »Hello there!
Since there are some themed videos being in the works/released lately (taxi collab, non-bike collab), I thought why shouldn't we try doing a faggio and pizzaboy centered one? Personally, I rarely stunt with these bikes (and I'm sure there are more like me) so it could be a fun little challange to try and get out of our comfort zone. Let's see some stoppie combos, grinds, grabs or even bigair stunts - the sky's the limit! Deadline: 08/31 Bikes allowed: Faggio, Pizzaboy Maps: VC/LC/SAiVC Editor: fckR Stunters: Aries (1) ARS (1) Dannye (1) Ezraph (3) fckR (2) khaimyk (4) Krypton Nem (3) Shifftee (1) Skuller (1) Sport (2) wviMis (4) ZeRo (2) 33
VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / Re: DEXÆSTH II« on: July 27, 2021, 04:35:07 AM »
Fun video! There were quite a few oldies but truth be told, I'm actually happy to see videos still being released in 2021 so that's not a major issue My favoruites were Sorcery's spinny ledge grinds and Maci's freeway grind (was trying something similar in that area). The editing was enjoyable too, loved the camera angles and the colors were on point too; my only complaint would be the song you picked for the first part, I just couldn't feel it (that's just a matter of personal preference though, so no biggie) - on the other hand, the second part was spot on.
Good job and happy birthday Ezraph! 34

Ace video man, really enjoyable! Stunts were great throughout, my favourites were the freeway highway grind combo, the LV double grind behind Caligula and the wallride combo after that (I love when people use the terrain like that) The editing was really well done too, great quality and sublime camera angles with some well placed effects, props for that. All in all, quite an enjoyable watch, keep it up!

NOW THIS IS TANK STUNTING! Great fucking job Max, this is one hell of a solo! I love that next to the crazy bigair stunts involving a packer you also landed many natural ones, this just takes it up a notch!
Part 1 3:16 - LC Airport Ramp 2 Skimmer Bump 2 ATC Tower: Great choice for opener, that looked huge! 3:30 - VC Downtown P2B: Good job one upping RedX, looked like a tight landing! 3:50 - LC Belleville Park P2B: This one seems like a major pain in the ass to stay on with that speed, well done! 4:01 - VC Vice Point Beach P2B Recoil: Smooth recoil, extra points for the backflip, lovely stunt. 4:13 - VC Pier Bump 2 Wallride: I guess it was harder to nail with a tank, nice wallride. 4:24 - VC Stadium Double Bump: That's a cool double bump right there! 4:32 - VC Downtown P2B: I love how you landed roofs that have only been done with taxis before, this is a great example. 4:43 - LC Casino Nat Bump: One of my favourites from the video, tricky bump with a huge airtime, and it's also a natural one - who could ask for more? 5:00 - VC Links Bridge Drop 2 Palm Bump: This is another fav for me, fucking love the idea of dropping down to that palm, marvelous! 5:12 - LC Casino BB Precision: I lost this one but don't even care, I know how hard it is to stay on the BB with that speed, fantastic precision! 5:29 - VC Downtown P2B: Huge P2B! 5:45 - LC Wichita Gardens Nat bump 2 Hill 2 Bridge: Lovely use of terrain, stylish stunt! 6:02 - LC Portland Tree Bump 2 Water Gap: I think fckR landed this, not sure if it was released or not, great watergap either way. 6:14 - LC Newport CSM: Has this roof been landed before with a tank, or am I just mixing things up with a tank CSM done on a PCJ? Looks quite vertical though so props for nailing it! 6:30 - LC Aspatria Hill bump 2 Roof Bounce: This is a fantatic find, that massive bonk to the hill was so satisfying to watch! 6:51 - VC Moist Palms Double Nat Bump: I think many of us have given this one a go after seeing TBV's landing of the lowest part, but I personally could never stick to it because I couldn't seem to get consistent bumps - so with that in mind, this one is a proper way to end the first part with, kudos for landing it! Part 2 7:14 - VC Ocean Beach P2B: Holy shit, parking on roofs again that never seen anything other than taxis, loved this! 7:42 - SAiVC Los Santos CSM: Looked big! 7:58 - SAiVC Kincaid Bridge Bump 2 Ship: Great job getting inside the ship, kicks it up a notch. 8:14 - VC Downtown P2B: Massive P2B, love how you conquered this roof (too)! 8:31 - SAiVC San Fierro Hospital Curb Double Bump: I suppose this was harder to land than the SA infernus version (as you cannot manually adjust the hydraulics to get a curb bump), well done. 8:47 - LC Wichita Gardens Nat Bump 2 Hill: Another one I lost but super happy to see it landed, it's a lot trickier than it looks 9:00 - SAiVC Las Venturas Nat Bump Watergap: Massive watergap with a nice barrel roll, great find! 9:16 - SAiVC Las Venturas P2B: Another huge P2B, the landing looks tight on this one too. 9:26 - LC Portland Double Bump 2 Pier: So clean! 9:43 - SAiVC San Fierro Nat Bump Watergap: I love everything about this, the huge watergap, the barrel roll inbetween, the turning of the turret to steer you the right way and finally for sticking it on your wheels 10:04 - LC Aspatria CSM: I thought you were going to go for something else (I know we discussed that spot in MO chat) but this was a pleasant surprise. 10:14 - LC Airport Side P2B 2 Precision: Rocking them tank precisions, great job man! 10:33 - VC Little Haiti P2B: It was so fun to watch all those tanks fly on to the roof Jubito landed, and for a second I was like wait, that roof is old and the other is too tall and far away - and then I was like OH Sick finisher indeed! Intro/Outro: The intro was brilliant (poor Max getting interrupted while trying to stunt), also cool nod to that VC mission. I also loved the outro, some crazy (and painful) attempts there - makes me want to appreciate the stunts even more since you didn't settle with the upside-down landings. Editing: The editing was really enjoyable for me, I liked the song choices, the camera angles were picked really well, everything was showcased nicely. I also liked the usage of different skies/weathers and some of those smooth transitions where the tanks were basically in the same position, very aesthetically pleasing 40

Modus Operandi Public Section / Re: ZeRo - The Wind And The Sun« on: March 07, 2021, 10:28:14 AM »HellĂłszia Amazing video, I feel dizzy watching all those spins. Gotta say I expected more bigairs and less grinds but I can't complain as all these stuff were amazing. Loved the bonks, the spins and the grinds. Also liked the bigairs, fortunately we could see some in the video. The combo at the cherry poppers factory was outstanding, I can't tell how you managed to stay on the bike but it was so spectacular. These gindcombos kinda reminded me of fckr's and I guess that's a big compliment, at least when I say it (not meaning that all these stuff are debatable such as fckr's ones are supposed to be). Also, I want to highlight the fact that you have done natural stunts only (the one with the secondary vehicle counts as one, too, for me). And you have been doing this your whole career, landing mainly natural stunts. It's such a great word especially seeing all these stuck methods and artificially created bumps all around VC. Thank you my dude, hope you're doing alright! https://youtu.be/yf0qH13q_rw Thanks man, that was really entertaining to watch! 43

Collectively saying thanks to everybody who left a comment, much appreciated guys!
Also, I just added the download link to the first post! I was like fuck yeah, will be there a ZeRo video where he doesn't land any of my beloved spots... then I arrived to 4:03 you cheeky bastard. Been trying to land a perfect execution since ~13 Dude, I know this is not the first time you leave a comment like this after I appear in a video, I'm sorryyyy But perhaps this will motivate you to fire up VC again and actually release something? Though I'm not sure I would like to be on the other end haha Very nice video man. Just wondering about the stunts at 2:15 and 4:03, they have quite an antifall vibe to them I thought that 4:03 might get called out, I was actually debating with myself if I should release this version or the other one where I did a perfect double grind at the end, but didn't get such a stylish spin after that bounce. I tried many times to combine the 2 executions but never managed to get it, so I settled with this one. The other one I'm not sure what you mean, maybe that I was dropping to where the rail changes direction? First off - love the music choice. It's not often music that's game-era-specific is used in a stunt vid. I loved the editing also. It reminded me of the classic days where you cut your stunts in and maybe doubled up a couple of nice landings and...that's it - letting the stunts be the flash, rather than the way they're recorded. I can't tell you how amazing it feels to have one of your icons leave such a nice comment on your video, thank you! Loved the music, camera work, edit and those fantastic natural stunts! That spinny grind at the start was truly something special. Also, the bounce to grind actually bouncing you over the fence to get to the grind was a really cool touch. Awesome vid! Thanks for the nice feedback Dannye, means a lot! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9kpzJGYdBc Jason really started something with this whole reaction video thing, didn't he? Thanks for taking the time to make one, it was a lot of fun to watch! 44
Modus Operandi Public Section / Re: ZeRo - The Wind And The Sun« on: March 05, 2021, 12:30:34 PM »Amazing solo ! i really love it Thanks man, appreciate it! so awesome i liked both editing and stunting ! those grinds OMFG ! pre-finisher and and finisher !!! damn 10/10 truly Glad you dig it! some of the best VC grinds ever in my opinion You're far too kind! Means a lot coming from you though, I really started looking after spots involving curb bumps after your SA solos, you have a hell of a style! Nowadays I don't really comment on videos, especially not on VC ones since it's not my cup of tea. Much love for taking the time to check it out and leave a comment my guy! Out of nowhere I got taken back to the times when we were both kicking it in SA/SAMP, good times! Hope you're doing fine Bart! 45
Modus Operandi Public Section / Re: ZeRo - The Wind And The Sun« on: March 05, 2021, 11:20:34 AM »Stunts: Thanks for the review dude, glad you liked it! As for the opener, it's new this way, it's only been done coming from this side by that closer ramp/bump. Also I'm curious, which one would you have picked as the finisher? It had to be this one because this is was definitely the hardest to nail, the runup, the bump and the landing are all a major pain in the ass. Holy shit what a solo I pretty much liked most of the stunts, but 1:05 and 4:03 were just soooo good. Awesome video! Appreciate it man! What a nice surprise this morning, god damn this was thoroughly enjoyable. Ayy thank you, natural is definitely the way for me! |
