VC Steam Download Issue

Hey guys so I'm trying to stunt again but everything is going wrong lol.

I have Windows 10, and I got VC off of steam. Every time I try to open the game it just says I need directX version 8.1 when I have version 12? has anybody had this issue??

I had the same problem with SA when I wanted to run it on windows 10. It's very simple to fix and I found a video that explains it: http://youtu.be/gl3mXsxYVIs
