Hello GTAStunting, time flies but we're still here. On 10/01/2008, my first solo, Dissimilar, was released, and15 years later I felt like doing something special. So I revisited it and decided to a live reaction to it.

But not just a reaction, I still got a lot of memories from that time, and some funny stories, so I decided to share them with you.

Sports / Corinthians FIFA World Champion
« on: December 16, 2012, 06:06:35 AM »

Quote
Paolo Guerrero scored his second goal of Japan 2012 to earn Corinthians a 1-0 win over English Premier League side Chelsea and a second world club crown. The game in the International Stadium Yokohama was a tense and intriguing affair, and in the end the Brazilians’ guile and grit won the day.

Corinthians immediately settled into their trademark defensive swarm, pressuring Chelsea all over the pitch early on. The men from London did their level best to set down a passing rhythm and take control of possession, but it was no easy task as Tite’s men contested every ball and closed down space with a work ethic that was well appreciated by throngs of Brazilian fans, who turned the stadium into a bouncing cauldron of black and white.

Chelsea’s first corner of the game nearly resulted in an opening goal in the 11th minute. Gary Cahill, up from the centre of defence, headed well, only for Cassio to block the shot and then gobble up the rebound before the defender could follow up and crash it over the line.

The side from Sao Paulo had to be content with shots from long range for most of the first half, which generally failed to trouble Petr Cech in the Chelsea goal.

At the other end, Eden Hazard, with his quick turns and overall panache, looked a likely source to break down Corinthians’ defensive wall, and he earned a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area after 21 minutes. David Luiz, back in defence after a stint in midfield in the semi-final win over Monterrey, hit poorly and low into the wall.

With ten minutes to go in the half, Corinthians, who looked consistently dangerous on the counter-attack, had their best chance of the period. Guerrero battled into the box, scuffing a shot across the face of goal. Emerson was alert to the opportunity, but he could only hit the outside of the post with the hulking Branislav Ivanovic in the way.

Shortly after, Victor Moses – on for Oscar in his first start of the 2012 FIFA Club World Cup – cut inside from the left and curled a dangerous shot toward the top corner. He was denied a goal only by the sheer athleticism of the diving Cassio, who was at work again seconds later to deny Frank Lampard and keep the scores even at the interval.

The second half picked up right where the first left off: physically robust and full of rough-and-tumble battles all over the pitch. The first chance came nine minutes in, Juan Mata sending Hazard away with a fabulous through ball. Cassio, again, was alert to the danger, racing off his line to cut down the angle and save from the Belgian.

Corinthians took full advantage and found their breakthrough after 69 minutes.  Danilo dribbled across the face of goal and fired in a shot, which was blocked by the courageous Gary Cahill. The deflection, however, took the ball straight up in the air and into the path of the foraging Guerrero, who leapt to head in to the net to an almighty roar from the Brazilians fans behind the goal.

The score remained unchanged until the final whistle. Chelsea, who finished the game with ten men after Cahill saw red, were unable to find a way back despite a late effort from Fernando Torres that was somehow blocked by the legs of the heroic Cassio. Corinthians scored only two goals here in Japan to become club world champions for 2012 – and both of them were scored by Guerrero, and both with his head. The title is Corinthians’ second world club crown after they picked up the inaugural laurels in 2000.

GTASL 7 / BIG FINAL - TurBo vs. Sorcery
« on: April 28, 2012, 10:25:45 AM »
Time for the big final :)

3 challenges, 5 judges, 15 votes in total, the one with most votes is the champion.

We didn't want to have any restriction in this final match, so the challenges are simple, you have freedom do whatever you feel like in them.

1 - First stunt must be a car/boat/plane/heli stunt (anything except bikes or taxis), this can be done in VC or LC.
2 - Second one is a taxi stunt (any kind of taxis allowed), this MUST be done in a different map from stunt 1 (if you did the first in VC, this must be in LC, and the other way round).
3 - Third and last stunt, best bike stunt. Any bike, any kind of stunt, VC or LC, no restrictions.

In the 3 challenges you can use any method you want and any secondary vehicle you need, and long as the stunt is legit (that means, no packers in 300ft high roofs :P). You can post a video of a set-up to show it's legit.

Deadline: 13th of May (Sunday), so you have 3 weekends to land them.

Best of luck :)

Sports / Libertadores - 2012
« on: March 29, 2012, 01:35:24 PM »
Libertadores (vinheta Globo Esporte)

Since we got many guys from South America here, especially from Brazil and Argentina, I decided to make a topic about our "Champions League". There are only 2 rounds left in the group stage, and then comes the play offs.

Who do you think will win this year? Will the Brazilian teams win for the 3rd year in a row or will it be Boca Juniors for the 39th time? :P

Any flaming between club supporters is totally acceptable since it's a football topic.

E vai dar TimĂŁo esse ano, vocĂŞs vĂŁo ver.

GTASL 7 / FINAL SIX - IT'S ON
« on: March 21, 2012, 11:56:07 AM »
First of all, sorry for taking too long, Tiago is too busy with studies and he left me in charge of it all alone, and it turned out I'm too busy too

The final six are:
PrzemOO
Cooper
TurBo
ZeRo
Sorcery
BoBo

Anyway, we had talked about doing semi finals but we'll do the Final Six system as some of the participants asked for.

Rules: ONE, ONLY ONE challenge will be given to all of you six (don't worry it's not so specific), and you'll have a few days to complete it (like all the matches, and you'll have the whole weekend don't worry).
After the six stunts are landed, the judges will vote, but this time for the one who'll be eliminated.
After the voting, we'll do the same with 5 stunters, and this will go until 2 remain.
In case of no-show, automatic elimination of the no-show, and normal voting for one guy to be eliminated. This will make us skip the 5-stunter match and go directly to the 4. So guys, submit at least something.

Challenge: Best stunt with a stuck secondary vehicle.

Rules: No modding, no bashing, no bribing. If you use a set-up that's not obvious, like a weird PSM, you must submit a clip of you doing it (you don't need it if it's a simple bsm :P)

Deadline: Sunday 25th of March 23:59 GMT +0 (for timezones problems: until the weekend ends)

Good luck  :cheernutz:
