this is what people without stunting knowledge still think about VC and SA. they cant imagine doing it without hacks. but we're not them. we're the worlds best, we can do whatever we want in GTA when it comes to stunting

Do you know, I don't really care that much, I just want them to make it possible for a real backflip/frontflip to be done, not these halfflip krail things we see

When GTA4 is out and it isnt stuntable , someone should convert the map to VC

Yeah, i was thinking of that too, but i think GTA IV will be stuntable... in some way!

But lol, 99.99999999% of vids have bike stunts in them, whether it be SA or VC.

Seriously though, its Grand Theft Auto, you werent meant to do p2b's and csm's and crap. Just be happy that its another awesome game in the franchise.

Judging by the trailer though, totally not gonna be stuntable. It looks too realistic to be stuntable.

For example:

-Gets alot of speed with a motorbike

-Gets ready to bump a 2 ft ledge

-Hits the bump only to find out his bike's front tire gets raped and dismembered and the driver of the motorbike flies 30 feet forward, lands on the pavement, and dies

Or another one:

-Huge runup

-Get alot of speed on the bike

-Getting ready to do a huge ass p2b

-Here it comes!

-*Your gas tank is empty. Please refill at the local gas station*

   PWNT!

That look too much the right thing what iv does, i think that only thing that can be done in IV is stoppie, wheelie, and a quadbike?? two wheel bonus

But, oh my Allah!    R* Have done good job ,not stunt related,

i think im gonna buy ps3
When it costs 100bucks    if it costs 100bucks anytime, when its cheaper i think we're screwed, then there is XBox 1260 or 1080, and ps15. But who knows.

I think there will be a greater progression towards more complex and realistic physics, I think the new engine presents an issue as SA and VC were both built from the same engine and so basic ideas held steady. I can only hope that this game will be stuntable because it is like the previous GTA's a R* engine, and they may build their physics based on the model started with VC/SA and so keep the fundamentals down.

Bike stunting may go down the tube, but from what I know of the changes to SA it will give hope for cars (which were more powerful in SA), planes and bicycles...I think stunters will find a way, as it is a whole new playground

Exactly my opinion.

Yup, we found a way to stunt VC and SA, we'll find a way to stunt this.

Ive heard on CVG the driving model will be similar to that of the Midnight Club games which might make it worse in terms of stunting....anyone who has played those games care to elaborate on how that might affect a stunters perspective?

seeing as they seem to be using some physics from Natual Motion it'll be stuntable...not like you think...not like 100ft bumps, maybe like...a car flip or 2 if your lucky type thing, I'm guessing you could probably use and explosion to get more force and stuff from flying off a ramp but I doubt anything extraordinary will be possible

I highly doubt the actual game will look like the trailer. I mean look at the Killzone trailer they had when they shown off the PS3, they sayed it was actual gameplay but it was really computer rendered.

And even if it is "Too Realistic" there's always handling mods.

I think stunting will be...well...stunted on GTAIV. As has been mentioned already, the series is leaning more and more toward realism...particularly in the driving physics. To that end, we may not even see Packers in GTAIV.

Also, I think if any stunting is possible (which will probably ring true, only not to the degree of VC and SA), we'll all be relegated to PS2 and XB360 vids...because I'm doubting it will get a PC release.

It should get a PC release. Most of the "Big Releases" are. I don't think VCS/LCS was ment to be that big of a game. More of a "Milking money out of us" type of game.

They should release a PC version...I meen after all...the sony uses a tweaked Geforce7 for it's graphics and most computers now days can take next gen stuff, I dunno...I'd like a pc release but then again I doubt they will even for LCS or VCS.

And yeah that's true some trailers are computer generated but...well look at it, they even show the supposed "main charectar" (who can blink), I dunno but I'd be very dissapointed in R* if it wasn't atleast NEAR what they showed in the trailer
