Congrats on GVT's first SA vid, it turned out great!
Yeah, some stunts were old, but I don't care. The new stunts were awesome, Scooby and New_player pwned. :bowdown:
My favorite stunt has to be Scooby's krail to grind, that was great.

Overall: one of the best new SA vids in a while, I hope GVT will release another SA vid once in a while. :)

Post by: infested on May 06, 2006, 10:49:17 AM: Holy guacamole! This vid is really nice, New Player really shocked me with the skills he showed up, not what you'd expect from someone you haven't heard anything about really.

The intro was really nicely edited, and so was the main parts. The angles you used made the fallgrab which is considerably easy to do look really hawt. I first thought some of the p2b's where modded due to the size of the leaps, but then when I saw scooby I think it was, using RADÃƒâ€šÃ‚Â´s method I remembered :P

Music was good, could've been better.

But here wow, almost everything was new.

The intro had a VERY SPECIAL feel to it.

Like 10/11ths way through all the stunts inthe main part, I'm like hell yea thats Alexys editing for sure, but I was wrong..

Woot none taken.

1:48- wow very nice sammmmmy, i thought you would land on a planted boat but the rock landing was better.
1:57- goddam :o , whyd you have to do that to Nightknight, why. It pwned.
2:05- ok grind WW.
2:13- not much of a grind.
2:16- didnt look to hard.
2:18- The MTB one was nice.
2:24- old, but still hard.
2:30- Nice distance.
2:35- old
2:40- nice, you stayed on the roof. :D
2:43- caddy seemed innecessary.
2:48- nice redo with a fcr.
2:54- Ok grind.
2:59- uh would look better in creds.
3:04- i like these bumps of moving cars to BB. very nice.
3:08- ok, but seemed to low to do it in nrg.
3:14- Wow that is nice and high, must have been a bitch with that bump F***ing up the runup like 50 percent of the time.
3:18- cool grab.
3:23- fillerish
3:33- Wow, one of the best, if not best, taxi stunts ive seen.
3:39- nice but i thought you were going to make it to the roof.
3:43- classic.
3:46- looks easier on MTB.
3:51- wow about time someone roofs a crane with something other than a nrg.
3:54- basically the same stunt as the other one.
4:00- classic.
4:06- Gotti classic.
4:09- Another :o stunt from Scooby.
4:16- Buzzoff :lol: really likes these types of stunts.
4:20- great stunt.
4:25- classic
4:29- tried to bump to top of tower with this method, i didnt even make it to roof. lol
4:33- Only meh stunt by Scooby in this vid.
4:38- nice looking.

Overall nice vid, the new stunts made up for the oldies.
Gj GVT keep at it except for WW stick to VC. :P
Scooby owned this vid, BTW could you reupload VWAN. :)

It's a great video, great stunts and decent editing, but it feels like something is missing. I can't say what, but it didn't gave me the feeling I was hoping to get.

Though I know it's a great vid. Not exactly, but almost as good as SA vids by TMS, XSA and FB.

Btw... Some accused me for modding the p2b over the sewers in OOR. IMO it's nothing in comparison to the length Scooby had in the stunt at 2:30 in this vid. (No, I'm not accusing Scooby for modding. I'm just wondering why you accused me and not him...)

I don't care, if people mod in videos and pretend they don't then they are idiots, you don't realise you are in one the best crews in the world, you are one of the best stunters in the world, why would you want to risk modding and maybe get caught and get kicked out and then you're a nobody in the stunting world...

Even if he is modding i'm not going to flame and call him a dirty modder, it's his decision if he wants to try fool... but that packerbump... i'll keep my mouth shut about that.

And everyone who is like "RAD's method is teh beasta!!! that's why he got so much distance" I'm not assed... RAD's method is only making you go faster, why the hell would that effect the games physics... because you were going a little faster after you bump you travel in a straight line... ok.

EDIT:scooby! you did my first stunt for my 4th solo vid! you also did some old ones hehehe. scooby and new player really were good. those moving car vbms were done by my in my first vid, but it was cool to see them done to billboards. on the whole great job guys, it wasn't the best SA vid i've seen, but it was still pretty good.

And I just love the way you can call somebody a modder not caring how much time he spent trying to pull this stunt off or how hard it was.

Just to clear things out, I have never said you modded (so I hope that message wasn't for me). I agree with you on one point, much time is often the recipe to make nice stunts, not modding.

Weve been trying to convince RAD of doing a vid but he hasnt made one, i havent tried it seriously but the few goes i gave i saw no difference. :lol:

Post by: infested on May 08, 2006, 11:29:52 AM: Here's what you do. Before you reach top speed, pull a wheelie "steep" enought to make the back part of your motorbike scratch the ground. Then tap forward enough so you don't go down, but still get as you usually do when going normally. Because the speed can't increase when the back part is scraping the ground, the speed will be "stored" (like the tractor+bus glitch). Then, when you go back down again, the stored speed will be released and you'll go faster than you could without the method.

I tried it on a ramp where you usually get 15-18m height, and I got 22m at first try (also increased length by some m). It DOES work, no doubt about it.

02.59 - You should've grinded the whole rail.

04.38 - The bump to building is old but that wallride thing looked good.

While writing this I noticed how many old stunts it had, try to watch more old SA vids cause the new stuff was awesome. ;)

Well...a very well edited video that lives up to the high standards of GVT vids. I liked the pace of the thing and it flowed well from start to finish

The stunts were good. I know you guys are just moving into SA so some old spots were always gonna happen. Some stunts i didnt find impressive but others were just sweet. I really liked some of the air 2 grinds and some of the mtbike stunts. The taxi in the vinewood sign was a nice touch

Well done GVT :)

I don't watch many SA videos either, so I couldn't tell if anything was old or not, but most of the stunts were nicely done. From what I can rememeber, Scooby's big krail 2 grind was my favourite. Editing was fantastic. You guys really know how to edit a video. Overall, a good SA effort by the crew.

Stunts: Awesome, Scoobys P2B... S.I.C.K.

Editing: I didn't like the undetailed quality, nice use off transitions, glow and zooming.
It had a very energic fast pace which i enjoyed, i just wish that the quality was better coz it pulled it a lot down in my book and made it look unprofessional.

Music: Loved the tunes except for the last introsong.

8/10 - Coz of some old stunts and unsatisfying quality.

I sorta liked this vid. I didn't think it was of the same calibre as GVT's VC vids by any stretch of the imagination...but it was still pretty good. The stunts were all nicely done, however I can't help but think that a lot of SA stunts look similar and never really seem to have that wow factor that made VC stunting so enjoyable to watch. I know what a pain it can be to try to bounce off the front of an oncoming car with a bicycle...but I think the bicycles in SA have far greater potential than just doing that. Grinds in SA still suck major ass, but the ones in this vid were nicely executed and held back only by game physics.

Editing wasn't too shabby, however SA vids are invariably let down by poor replays...not exactly the editor's fault, of course. The music seemed fitting and was, in true GVT style, a little more outside the box than usual.

Definitely a fine SA vid, and it was great to see GVT can school us no matter what game they're playing.

Edit: Awsome video, I expected a crappy video (My "Looking forward to this one!" was actually ironi :P) Great, really great, intro! Could've showed him getting up the mountain too, but it's not that important.

A bit overedited, at least with the red in the beginning of the "main" part. But really I wouldn't say it was overedited, but I can see why people do. Oh and the names could've had it's effects toned down quite a bit. Anyway, music fit. Synched good. Stunts were good enough for me. A few cool stunts that I liked very much (Sadly no air acrobatic stunts though!). But I think you did one stunt twice (the "mountain-bike-bump-on-to-a-car-to-a-billboard" by the LS airport), and that's not so good (not sure though, didn't double check or anything).

Overall, great, I enjoyed it very much indeed and I'll put it in my favorite folder (not that I have one, but if I did I would have put it there).

7.5/10, but I'm very tough when it comes to giving a video a score. And 7 is a really high number if you look at other reviews by me. Remember, words speak louder then score!!

Alittle overediting (allthough I personaly liked it) and a stunt performed twice drags the "grade" down abit.
