You may remember back in early January where Angle.Fire has decided this would be his first ever organized VC collab,
and so far there's like a SHIT TON of replays already sent (correct me if I'm wrong but they're about 150 of them), so we
decided to make this two-fold with 2 different editors (myself included), so stay tuned for Volume 2 (watch until the end
of the premiere for its trailer)

And before you ask, yes this is another reason to fuckin hang out with my babies Replay Manager and Freeplay. Took
6 months in the making for sure, but wait no more motherfuckers

AAAAAAAAAAAAND if it wasn't for DragonFF's tool the video would look like shit considering the long distance model of
every vehicle is really bad (which I also considered fixing them myself)

It's EZ GRIPS!!

I was aware that TDRVC was conducive for stunting, but I had no idea that we'd see a massive video like this, even if it took a while (and this is only the first part :o). The editing took full advantage of all the new tools, and the stunts took advantage of all nooks and crannies of this new playground. Very well done.

Well done, there were many highlights but I'll just say that everyone landed some nice stunts! Ezraph's editing was definitely the star of the show, though I did think a couple of stunts were difficult to fully understand on my first viewing (like Haywire/ZeRo's spot, it's tricky to simultaneously follow the specifics of both versions unless you know the differences between them in advance). I'm looking forward to Haywire's section too :ninja:.

Since the watch party recording is scuffed, here's a little summary for anyone who wasn't present;

Ezraph has taken Replay Manager and shown us all how to do it. Beautiful cinematics throughout, great sensibilities and vision, a crispy clean polish. I truly must step up to the plate with Part 2.

I saw great things from Sorcery, Sheeptea, Max, Rainbow, Gryzlek, but everyone took this new terrain and showed off their ideas with great variety. I'm proud to give the community something fun to play with. :)

That was such an enjoyable watch, great job everybody involved! :a-cheer: Lots and lots of cool stunts in this, and to see that there's a part 2 on the way makes it even more exciting! Just to name a few standouts: Maci's dropbump (tried this too for a bit), Sorcery's MAG, Rainbow's bus grind and taxi precision (that was TIGHT), Krypton's desert precision, Haywire's ledgegrind, Gryzlek's sanchez doublebump and faggio precision, Sheeptea's grind combo, Angle.Fire's hotring drive-up-the-wall precision (wtf :lol:) and some car stuff by Smut - but again, everybody did good! :a-cheer:

The editing was top notch, the use of those new camera tools really takes it to the next level and it clearly shows you put a lot of effort into this, well done Ezraph! :jajaja: Enjoyed the soundtracks too. My only minor complaint would be that my double grind that was shown together with Jason's combo was a little bit hard to see, I mean I knew my stunt but even I had to rewind the video to make out what exactly was happening - but the idea was great, nontheless! :jajaja:

And last but not least shoutout to Jason for creating this map! :a-cheer:

Wow everyone pulled their weight here. Barely any filler stunts, multiple times went "damn what a great idea". DC's gap to tunnel was probably my favourite. Though smut, haywire, gryzlek, and sheeptea had great stuff.... everyone did. Sheep's grind2csm2prec was bonkers.

Editing was nice, wasnt a huge fan of the music but the editing paired well with it. I'm in the minority on this, but I thought there was too much cinematic angles, pretty much every stunt. They weren't bad by any means, i just feel less is more when it comes to those. Too much cutting for my liking but it still looked impeccable. Great job ezraph.

Looking forward to part 2, wonderful video here.

Edit: sorry for no reaction, had to wait 45 mins waiting for food and watched it a couple times there.

There are a lot to say about this. I was going to record myself but i'm kinda overwhelmed with job so i'll try to put them into words here  :)

First and foremost, I'd like to give my biggest thanks to Ezraph for taking the edit for first part. I'd not be able to start this if he didn't accept.  We've gone through many beta footages and like 3 full betas before making it final. Ezraph has fixed many stuff along the way. His dedication and patience was unbelivable. And time failed to make him lose his creativity even though he was also going through collage stuff. This will have a special place in my memory rent free.  :wub:

Jason did a great job creating this new playground for us. It's a fresh air for people wanting to test their creativities. It has been some fair time and there are still many spots to land. Creating this world was already too much but he also gave it a hand and edits for second part. I'm so grateful for it all. Mad respect mate  ;D

For my part, I had to make sure all, if not, most of the replays were counted in. Because small or big, there is an effort for each stunt. And it only deserves respect.  I've gone through it all and split them into parts. Making sure each part has their good share for diversity of stunts while considering their submission dates as well. Had to reorganize it a couple of times while Ezraph and Haywire were on the edit. First part is amalgamation of some stuff we've seen before and new stuff. So it feels like a recap of TDRVC stunting till now for some sections. I hope i was reasonable with splitting the reps. This is my first to organize a collab so forgive me if you think it wasn't what you expected.

And thanks to community to allow me to organize something of that scale here and showing their support. I'm very proud to be able to do this. There were some people said they'd send something as well but sadly couldn't make it. That'd really be amazing. But still, thanks for the effort. Also i wished to see some other stunters as well but there's not much to do for it now.  Just know that i like each and everyone in the community with the exception of cheating.  :D

It's really hard for me to pick favourites. We got all banger stunts  ;D

Everyone landed great stunts, my personal favorites where MaCi's massive drop mega bomb, Gryzlek's sanchez double bump, Krypton's desert prec, Reaper's nat bump 2 building and Sorcery's mag. The editing is just amazing, the camera work combining stunts all the time is fucking awesome, also the music choice is nice too. The intro is weird and freaky and I like that. I'm not a fan of lowering the FPS tho hehe but it doesn't matters :P

Thanks for letting me join at the last moment, I was aiming for this https://youtu.be/-V84YHdfT7I but I gave up (I landed the farther part of the bridge but bailed hitting the wall). I'm glad I'm part of this, I wanted to send better stuff but oh well :)

Also great job Angle organizing this, and thanks for the shout out Ezraph1999 :D shout out back!

Really looking forward to Jason's part, I hope my other stunt is in it heheh :ninja: :ninja:

Also I was aiming to Sheeptea's grind but without the CSM :P great job on that one Sheep

Good stuff guys! Favourite stunts for me had to be the hole landings from Max and DC, plus Rainbow's bus grind and taxi prec. Also Smut, Sorcery and Gryzlek's stuff, the many impressive grinds and- really it was just cool to see everyone making such good use of this new playground! Editing-wise I really liked the camerawork used to showcase that bus grind (seeing the whole thing in one long take was extra satisfying, as was its blend into the following stunt - I liked that cam so much I didn't want it to end hah), also the building-wipe into Gryzlek's faggio prec (and the secondary angle of the landing showing off the precision really well), and the camera used to capture Smut's comet dropping off of the bridge.

Cheers to Haywire for the map, Angle.Fire for the organisation, and Ezraph for the edit!
I'm excited for more - that teaser for part 2 the end was a lovely way to cap it off.

Massive effort used to make this video and it's only the first part. Wow.
Editing was maybe the best Ezraph done so far, but like said some multishot parts were hard to keep track of.

Stunting vice FIGHTER, Gryzlek, MaCi, Smut & Rainbow had the best ideas. Smut carlord doing nice precisions, Gryzlek jack of all trades doing great stunts with many vehicles. MaCi being beast as always and landing that roof with a huge natural dropbump. Rainbow taxigod landing the tiniest precs there is.
FIGHTER aiming for the finisher as always and well deserved.

Some of my stunts felt like fillers compared to the rest, but I'm really happy people liked my grind csm combo stunt :ajaja:
Still need to land that double grind in the new section :ninja:

I don't want to be the dude who throws the first modding accusations, but Reaper and Sport stunts looked weird as heck, and I'm saying this because they have history of modding. Good to see Reaper in action, but not like this. :neen:

Funny thing, when i landed this csm and watched the replay i thought "Damn this looks really weird", i even told Ars about it, but no it's not modded, i haven't mod since the moment my best off came out on august 15, 2020. I recorded my best attempts along with the final successful attempt on this stunt, it's funny how with such a lousy rad I got the highest attempt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypjdyHXEGUY&ab_channel=Andrey

Well amazing vid Ezraph, you did a great job as always on editing, excellent progress with replay manager :ajaja:. Also thanks to Angel.Fire for organizing this collab, I really wanted someone to do it :a-cheer:. All the guys are great, they did a good job. The music is awesome too ;D.

I honestly didn't want to write this, but I'm a bit disappointed :unsure:, I was hoping for a longer video of 15-20 minutes (something like a community video) and hoping to see more of my stunts  (they are actually good, I wouldn't even mind if they were chosen those three stunts, instead of those two in the video) (I'm not a narcissist, I mean not only myself but also other stunters :euro:), but if the second part includes stunts not only from the "new island", then I apologize. Excuse me for such a small criticism, I usually try to write only positive messages :jajaja:.
UPD: Angel.Fire confirmed that the stunts from the first island will be in the second part, the alarm is off :lol:.

In general, an excellent project, starting from the port of the map from Carmageddon to GTA VC (Thanks Jason :happy:), ending with the release of the video, can't wait for the second part :a-cheer:!

I had many ideas regarding the song. Wanted to have an edit with one of the  Solstafir songs ( Drysill or Otta, they give me community vid vibes for some reason) or Interdimensional Summit by Dimmu Borgir. There's even a 2 minues beta where i put one of the songs i liked. But they dont really match Ezraph's unparalelled style. I am more than happy with the outcome. Hope next part covers your wish  ;D
