The recorder Edison Carter made sucks ass imo, it lags so much i cant even stunt like I should. So I thought,
'Why not make a recorder that records the same as the cheatdevice does, but also lets you play the game at full fps?'

Been working on this for the past few weeks,

All you need is a usb cable, usbhostfs drivers & program, a UMD(Iso's andcso's do not work atm)

Yet, I do not want to release this just yet!

eh sorry. just looked like a gif with more frames but since edison made that adjustable i see no point in this

What resolution are the vids in and what color depth + framerate (of the movie, in cs if possible), framerate (when recording, in fps if possible) ?

res is 480 x 272, BMP quallity, framerate for movie no idea who cares, framerate while recording around the normal fps that a psp has. (which is what? 30?)

Oh and I suggest you go read my thread again, then you will find out what's 'the point of this'.

If you've got a UMD of vcs, yes.

Linkdk, with the right software youll get it smooth.

yeh but slowing it down would result in more lag wouldnt it?

- And just to inform you: the gif recorder for the devhook has the ability to set keyframe interval etc so you can record smooth too. not at 30fps but though...

Thats pretty much as Fox said, just EC's recorder but higher quality images per second = higher filesize = crap imo. U really ought to work on an avi / wmv /mp4 capture app, not crappy gifs.

ahh rember the good old days of when u didnt have to downgrade to recored w/ EC's cheat divice. Back @ the old gtastunters domain w/ me blaz3 rocka tom n a few others......good tomes good times..
