Listening to Come Clarity tonight and I thought, hey what the hell right? Brilliant band altogether, formed in 1990 and one of the fore-fathers of melodic death metal along with Dark Tranquility and others. Every record after Clayman has sounded a bit more mainstream, but I like it. My favorite album is Colony hands down, I dont go a week without at least popping it in and listening to Embody The Invisible or the instrumental track Man Made God,  I also liked Whoracle and since it was a concept record it definetely interested me more than the others. The new record is pretty cool too, definetely have picked favorites off that one such as, Delight And Angers, Sleepless Again, and I'm The Highway.

As most of you know, my second favorite record by In Flames and the first record I ever heard by them was Come Clarity, I think its a beautiful record, filled with all sorts of dynamics, there's slow stuff, there's fast stuff, there's acoustic stuff, there's clean and harsh vocals, and the title track has a lot of emotion in it, and I personally pick it out as a favorite from the entire record, I was going through a bad break up at the time I heard of the record and when I heard it, I always put that song on to make me feel motivated. Again, I personally think they're a brilliant band and a VERY important band in the heavy metal scene of today and in the melodic death metal scene in Europe. Share your thoughts on the band.

I don't really appreciate them, but the chorus in Trigger is good, and thats the only song I've heard from them, so whatever.

They're better than fucking borgir.

Well just because you think so doesn't mean its right, its all opinions.

Anyway, Man Made God is the best track to ever jam to on guitar, its soo much fun.

They're pretty good, even used them in a vid of my own. I've heard Come Clarity and Soundtrack to your Escape, as well as a shitload of individual songs from their other albums. Probably my favorite songs are Artifacts of the Black Rain and Jotun. But that's just from what I've listened to.
