Expression Section / The Crucible
« on: March 29, 2007, 01:20:40 AM »
Now, I`m am designing a GTA SA version of the play "The Crucible"

Instead of a witch hunt, it will be a rebel hunt.

I`m going to need quick ways to edit the GTA SA environment for shots.

I`m going to need:

1. A mod to make nearly all citizens military members (Excluding police, EMS and firfighters.)
2. All vehicles to be Barracks.
3. Easy full skin changes for CJ to be different characters and control them. (Many needed)
4. A good camera hack.
5. A good mission chooser.
6. A good mission builder.

Anyone can submit them, they must work. Anyone who submits something I need that works will have there name/production team logo during both the intro and credits. If I already get something I need and you post it later, your name will not be in the credits.
Anyone who helps will be in the credits.
All mods must be very quick and easy to change, such as a single American. file, as I have little time.

Any ideas or advice from experienced filmakers on GTAS will be appreciated and shown in the credits.

The winner of the Makeover Challenge gets to make a comeo appearance in this film, winner, please just send my your skin to edit in.

Heres the story- (Basicaly)

-2013, totalitarian government in America.
-Lowly soldier witnesses a "rebel" meeting.
-The accused are brought forward and are pressured into naming others.
-Innocent are being accused.
-Either confess of be shot for contempt.
-A man see`s that the real rebels have only gained control by blaming others and "confesing".
-Tries to convince others but dies trying after being accused of being a rebel.
-Government collapses under its people roused by protagonist.

So, the real rebels "confess" and give names, innocents are blamed, then another rebelion is formed on accident by the protagonist who see`s it as unjust and ironicaly, is killed for his beleifs.

question can be answered.

XSA Chat & News / Crews
« on: March 14, 2007, 10:53:32 PM »
Now, I know its not like I`m some deep friend of all of you, but I came just to let you know I`m not giving up.

I think I should go try another crew to get some crazy practice!
It`s not that I`m giving up on XSA haha, its just that XSA is a GTA legend, and its not a place for a newb like me to just start, you know?
I gotta earn it.
With me, I need a motivation from outside to keep me going 110%, and your crew is just way too big for what I`m capable of now.

So, I maybe seeing you guys later when I`m better.

Till then, keep it up guys, your incredible.
And your damn straight I`ll be back, so keep an eye out for Marxly, It`l be a known name one day!

(Is it weird to be this passionate about XSA and stunting?    )

Graphics Battles & Competitions / Makeover Challenge
« on: March 11, 2007, 03:17:55 AM »
All out competition for best Signature and avatar creation.

The goal is to have not only the best sig and ava, but also the best matching one. They must follow any theme you choose, and must match without being exactly the same.

Rules:

1. Avatar cannot be a crop from Signature, must be completely seperate.
2. Only non-participants can vote.
3. Entry must contain a userbar, badge, avatar and either 300 X 100 or 400 X 125 signature.
4. Must be made by you.
5. Must be new, not your current signature.

Good ways to match without using same picture:

Similar colours, similar objects used, similar effects, ect.

The winners combo should be visibly different but still in tune with the other elements of the signature.

If you have any questions ask, submission deadline is March 26th, voting begins on the 27th.

Chat & Support / LCS: PSP vs PS2
« on: March 10, 2007, 01:38:57 AM »
Many stunters have moved onto stunting in LCS, laying a foundation in portabale stunting that could possibly lead to a whole new type of stunting with future games.

I personaly have LCS for PS2 and have found stunting extremely difficult as it is, and after seeing some LCS stunt videos, I have a new respect for those stunters.

My questions to you,

Stunting harder on a PSP?

Have you bought the PS2 version for better control?

Which do you prefer?

Any outstanding differences between the two?

XSA Chat & News / What attracted you to XSA?
« on: March 05, 2007, 10:44:54 AM »
As we all know, some of you started with other teams, and some of you jumped into the team straight out of solo. Despite all differences, one thing linked you all to this team. My question is; what sets XSA apart from other teams, and what attracted you to it? And if you joined from another team, what was better in XSA?

We all know that their are good stunters and good teams, but my personal reasons for *coming to XSA were that the stunts had an extra edge to them. Not only that, but the teams editing in videos was extremely well done and provide an interesting and entertaining show even to regular GTA players. I think its that high level of skill in all aspects of stunting that make me want it so bad, and in turn, draws me to the team.

It will be interesting to see the roots of the team.

*coming: Pestering the crap out of XSA in the forums.

Asking all XSA stunters and fans! Whats your favorite song from a XSA stunt video?

Mines most likely Slam by Pendulum, it`s so damn catchy.
