[Q] Animations
« on: February 27, 2010, 12:22:05 PM »
Is there a list of VC animations, like an updated list with the corresponding ped.ifp names to the number assigned to them for scripting?

example:

script number        ped.ifp name               description
-----01 --------- [IDLE_stance]----------Stand idle

I dont wanna have to research all animations to find out what each does and is =/

Not sure if this is what you are looking for or not - might be.

Looks like the guy's site is down so the download there wont work. I've got the files though (used this stuff a little bit for Yeah Baby intro animations), so let me know if this is what you're looking for and I'll upload them somewhere.

EDIT:

Just uploaded it now anyways. Here it is if ya want:

If you go looking through other IFP's from SA and whatnot then just select the big A button before applying the animation to your bones, you can press another button *can't remember which one it is* and it reverts the bones to their original state. *within max*

It's a good way to preview animations without too much hassle

The buttons are the "apply" and "R" (for Reset), pretty nice tip thanks flatty.

This is an awesome find dannye, no wonder that yeah baby intro was so awesome, with this you can play ANY animation from VC....even the smallest thing, and also comes with an opcode to add the MB which was just another great thing, which means you can loop the anims so they play out entirely.
