GTAStunting League - San Andreas / SASL6?

I would be up to organize it now if the staff doesn't mind. Is there anyone interested in taking part? I know people might have exams soon and it would interrupt with their school schedule but I won't have time during summer to handle this.

Opinions?  :hmm:

Antichamber Launch Trailer - January 31st, 2013 on Steam

Antichamber is a mind-bending psychological exploration game where nothing can be taken for granted. Discover an Escher-like world where hallways wrap around upon each other, spaces reconfigure themselves, and accomplishing the impossible may just be the only way forward.

Several years in the making, Antichamber received over 25 awards and honors throughout its development, in major competitions including the Independent Games Festival, the PAX10, IndieCade and Make Something Unreal. Antichamber was also supported by the Indie Fund.

Key Features:
- A deeply psychological experience that will make you question everything you know about how a game works.
- Mind-bending challenges that will subvert your expectations at every twist and turn.
- An enormous, seamless non-Euclidean world to explore.
- Lifelike soundscapes developed by Robin Arnott and an ambient soundtrack composed by Siddhartha Barnhoorn.
- A gun that can create, destroy and manipulate matter, allowing you to discover new ways to overcome your surroundings.

I've just got my hands on this today and the game is astonishing. There are major differences compared to demo of it that was available few years back. The game can easily trick and mindfuck you. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes to solve puzzles and enjoys exploring new places.

Share your thoughts and experiences!  :a-cheer:

The GTAStunting.net Forum Awards 2012 Winners

A couple of final words from me after the first time I completed this task.
The past 2 weeks kept me quite busy, especially the nominations stage, which was really getting on my nerves sometimes. The voting process went much smoother, as one vote in each category per person is less work. And here we are now, announcing the winners. I want you all to keep in mind I had no real influence on the results except for regular nominating/voting as every other member who nominated/voted.
I'd like to thank every single person who helped fill up the video list, sent his nominations and voted for his favourites. Without all of you this wouldn't be possible to accomplish. Even though the votes amount didn't break the last year's record (115, this year 98), I'm proud of the frequency we've achieved.
Thanks to Squeak for creating the signatures, his submission seemed the most suitable and that's why it's the one we award this year.
For fitting last words, as it has become a sort of tradition and I can't put it any better myself, I'll quote Daffy:

"Do remember stunting is about having fun, not winning anything.
This is merely meant as an appreciation to those who inspire us."

Continue to the winners list...

The nominations are finished, and now it's time for the final stage. Top 5 in each category have been singled out and it's time to pick out your favorites.

Once again, we encourage all the members who nominated to participate in the voting, as well as those who haven't nominated, but might find it easier to cast a vote now that the alternatives are present.

We should keep up with the tradition of rewarding the most inspiring videos and stunters through the past year. Is anyone about to organize it? I could do it myself if the staff doesn't have anything against me doing so.

Slender // Game Trailer

Anyone played it? The game is pretty damn challenging, not even talking about the 'creepy' aspect of it but it is indeed somewhat hard to win when you can barely turn around and run in the forest with a weak flashlight which runs out of power slowly.  :euro: I've just managed to gather 3/8 pages.

This video should have been done way sooner when we picked Samurai as the editor but he was busy and didn't even start with the video within about 4 months. He eventually gave up and I took the job.

The editing isn't anything extraordinary and perhaps not even very professional on today's GTAS standards but I guess our priority was to get this video as soon as possible. I had A LOT of Vegas issues when I tried to render lossless and had to split it into 15 parts which I merged later on. Vegas was cocky enough to bug in few places and I only noticed after encoding MKV so I didn't feel like wasting another 2 days just to fix that, the stunts are the most important anyway. I also forgot to force anti-aliasing, so things might not be as smooth as they could.
Thanks to Artifex for main logo, Ktulu for tags, Rusch69 & Samurai for telling me what to improve and Rusch again for the banner up there .

Also, just to make it clear - MtS sent his stunts before he left so he's participating as a member, but he's not one anymore. Samurai sent in one guest stunt though, we wanted him to contributy to the video after all.

Stunting-wise I think we did good for semi-VC team. This was more of a fun one whereas next SA video will be more serious.  :cc_detective:

Without any more talk, just sit back and (try to) enjoy!

24h timelimited video organized by me that was supposed to be done in Febuary but Kacknase was really slow with editing process and eventually disappeared while he was almost done as he claimed. Couldn't be arsed to wait any longer, sent all the stunts to Kukiel like 2 days ago and now it's done.  Thanks for doing it this quick. Just a shame you didn't put leafs ingame but still it's fine.  ;)

Thanks to all the stunters who participated & hope you'll enjoy it.  :)

Computer Talk / Weird pixels problem
« on: March 31, 2012, 03:12:46 PM »
I've got a weird problem. My screen just makes some green stripes and I have no idea what's that about. It first occured 2 days ago but when I've done system restore it was fixed. Then it happened again and system restore wouldn't help anymore. I've formatted my HDD. I can't install newest Nvidia drivers for some reason. Might it be caused of that? I also can't change to 75 Hz, the option is simply unavailable when I try it in screen settings. Halp!  :( My GFX card is NVidia 8800GT. The pixel stripes are gone on some certain colors like on GTAS background, and when they are visible they just mess up original color (they are not always green).
