Hey everyone
Some member called Me>You recently abused the negative money problem and sent out very large sums of money to everyone.
All members that failed to report this to me have had their money completely wiped, others will be restored their money. I noticed that many members who recieved this "Gift From Santa" immediately banked this money. Those members will recieve 20% warns I'm afraid for trying to cover it up.
All items bought will have to be deleted I'm afraid. members who fail to do this will recieve a 60% warn!
Me>You has been banned from the forums for life, and hopefully now the negative money situation has been solved
The money system was designed to be a fair system where people could post to get points and trade amongst eachother. It wasn't for people to get rich off of to feel good.
If you would not like to recieve any warns for posessing expensive items that you bought from the store, please post here confirming what you have deleted from your inventory so that I can restock it.
This is costed us a lot of work, and halted the development of the forums, so unless you want I ban i sugguest you help out

That sucks. I thougt it was a bug or something or that you were kind and gave people loads of money. Sorry.
Im currently deleting the stuff I bought when it happened. Not anything else that I bought earlier.
I deleted:
42 KC cabbies
36 Taxi cab's
1 Zebra cab
3 Babes
1 bold name
2 Close/open topics
1 bunch of henchemen's

UPDATE: It turns out the Me>You is in fact Origin, the guy who helped install IBStore and who I payed 5 bucks. I'm gonna tell him that what he did was not cool at all, costed me as much time as the spam attack did.
I'm not gonna flame the guy, just he's banned from the forums until i get a full explanation out of him

I didn't get any money from anyone, my business was doing quite well :P .... i got money from UL and some from technogeek. I understand that money was from "santa" but all my money was taken away. I made over 100k from sales in my packer + PCJ spawn and originally had 12k...so If you roo can make that happen it would be great. I have 84202 in the bank now and I'd like the rest of it. so i'd like my 28k plz :D

omg am i the only person who reported this, even if it was a bug you should have been reported straight away, altho i dont see y people would think its a bug when he sends u the money saying "buy everything before anyone notices"
i wouldnt complain about losing ur faggios techno, afterall, i did tell u not to buy anything other msn but it looks like u went on a bit of a spending spree doesnt it :nono:
also, im pretty sure i had money in hand but it was all wiped, im sure its probly just because its easier to wipe the whole money rather than wipe only what i didnt legitimately earn i understand that im just wondering is all

I will restore people's bank balances if they take the initiative to PM me. I can't restore the faggios to Technogeek cuz I had to delete all 47 of them that he had which took a while.
And didn't it strike many of you as kinda ODD that billions of dollars were being circulated around the forums suddenly? I believe only a couple of people reported this to me.
I wanna restore the peace, none of you did wrong, just messed up a little and costed me a couple hours of work restoring everything :)

i spend about an hour wiping everyone's money that was over average. That's all back to normal now, that is unless someone still has a bunch of items and resold them

If you read a message saying, "buy everything before anyone notices" and you can't decode that as someone trying to fuck with the forums you're a fool.
If you bought anything you contributed to the mess just as much as me>you did and you're lucky you aren't being banned. So stop bitching, its just fake money anyway.
