Out of shear boredom I thought I'd post this here, some people didn't catch it at the Temp.

I came when I saw it on the temp forums, and I came again when I seen it here. Though add SOME color to the shield.

Edit: Just noticed it said Captain America on his shield, sneaky monkey

I think making the effect a little more abundant and to the point would be nice, also when doing a B&W tag , try to make the msot of the lack of color by adding some high contrast between the white and black , photoshop cs3 has a cool feature that will auto mate this for you, also if you dont have cs3 use and baslck and white gradient map insted of just desturating the images
overall its lakcing but i can see the potential to be great

Now I know you're better than me at this but do you take me for an idiot that I desaturate  That gives such a pale result, I always use a black to white Gradient Map

I added more contrast, and you were right fb?, it does look better. I don't know if you'll notice, I couldn't of been bothered to make a v2 file out of it.
