Title: The Wire
Post by: VeganeBrodwärschd on December 28, 2013, 07:20:38 AM: I just finished The Wire for the first time ever... Now I have that post-partum depression like with any other TV series I have finished.

Anyone on this forum watched the Wire? What are your thoughts on the seasons? Favorite Season? Favorite Character? Do you think it can be regarded as one of the best TV series ever?

I loved every season so far, especially Season 4. My favorite character is either Prezbo, the Bunk or Omar. I think the Wire is definitely up there with Breaking Bad and the Sopranos and right now, I'm still so emotionally invested in the Wire that I would consider it my #1 favorite show of all time.

I absolutely love Carver's transformation under Bunny Colvin, he is one of the only guys who win at the end of the series

I've tried watchin Treme, David Simon's newest project along with Wendell Pierce (Bunk) but haven't gotten into it yet.
