where's the crap?

Ok checking my C drive's space i've used 224gb's.. I've cleaned up a bit so i'm down to 200gb's and i can't find all of it?



My documents isn't in my C drive but.. i have 30gb's in there so it's in the pic.. There's 100gb's just missing :blink: Backup and program files are in C drive obviously but where's the rest?!?!?!?

How long's it been since you defraged anyway?  

As far as where your 100GB of crap goes.......Prolly temp files and unfinished pieces, borked projects in Adobe software, or even video editing cuts that just get stored at random places.  In other words that 100GBs is crap you probably wouldn't use.

I'm about reformat my C: too.  I've got to get rid of Window's 7 Dual Boot since the RC is no longer valid.  Prolly start burning stuff to DVD's too to clear my P: drive.  I think for future projects as soon as I get done with them, I'll store their files straight to DVD and delete them from my computer.

It's hard to keep track of stuff FF when you do a lot of stuff you project whore.  :P
