If you plan on building (or upgrading) a PC around the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto IV, the official Games For Windows web site has a helpful rough estimate for what kind of hardware you're gonna need. To make it look as pretty as the version we saw, which ran just shy of 2560 x 1600, expect to bring some serious computing power to the table. While the minimum system requirements for the Windows version of GTA IV are still a mystery, the recommended requirements are yours for the studying. Recommended operating system? Windows XP SP2, natch. For the hard stuff, make the jump.
Processor: Dual core processor (Intel Pentium D or better)
RAM: 2GB
Hard Drive: 18GB free hard disk space
Video Card: 512MB Direct3D 10 compatible video card or Direct3D 9 card compatible with Shader

So, I finally got around to RMA'ing my old 7950 GT 256 MB, and today I got an 8800 GTS 320 MB
It was a huge improvement over my 7950 GT, and I get around 12k 3dmarks now
I also took off the crappy factory TIM and replaced it with some AS5, so here are the pics:

So yeah, i wanted to edit something, so i made a "best-of". I didn't have stunts from Supernova or anything old like that, the oldest stunts I had were from ParadoxXx. new psu time, my old one sucked horribly (for my system), and i needed a new one, so i took pics and it kinda shows how to install it. I got carried away when i was installing it so i didnt take that many pics to show how it was installed. pretty straight forward basically though.
