This is getting pretty ridiculous
« on: September 26, 2008, 05:52:30 PM »
Why do you admins keep continuously closing topics and warning/suspending people without even a slight answer to their request? Maybe you think it's a joke, but if any member of my board proposes that a member return to the forums, I would at least acknowledge it somewhat. It is usually for a good reason, especially if there are so many people who are supporting them. I would at least consider their request.

Personally, I find that Feron is fully capable of contributing to the board, regardless of what he has done in the past. He has history of helping the board in many ways, doing skinning jobs for people, running the world record topics, fixing up the vc pwnage game, etc...And technically, whether it's just posting, it's contribution nonetheless.

Honestly, what you're really doing is keeping people off the message boards and reducing activity. I wouldn't like to see this happen, especially now with what's happening to the site. I just ask you to at least listen to your members before taking administrative action.

Firstly, thank you for posting in the correct place, and giving a mature meaning to the topic.

The way I see it (about closing and warning these people) is that the purpose of their threads wasn't to get Feron unbanned, or to get answers. The person may have wanted that, but the point in the thread was ultimately because it would have been funny.

With that in mind, yours appeared to have different motives, hence why it was shut.

Feron being banned, well to be honest it's not like were being childish and going 'NOPE NOPE NOPE' we have thought about unbanning him, and we have all discussed it, fair argument that we havent answered your questions, but when most of the questions are just from someone pissing around, can you blame us?

Turtle Dick was the person that banned Feron, so I cannot talk in his place, but it was discussed in the staff section prior to it, the main reason being he has broke so many rules in the past, it just didn't seem fair that he's reached 100% a fair few times, and all I ever do it give in and let him back on.

He has contributed a lot though, no questions asked he's done stuff for the community, but at the same time he openly admins he breaks rules because he thinks it would be funny.

Hopefully this clears things up a bit, and hopefully people remain sensible in this topic.

*Also going to bed so, ill read your reply in the morning I guess*

I'm definitely supporting to unban Feron, I miss his "activities" on the forums and I'm pretty sure I'm speaking for more than one.

I believe he should be unbanned, but the staff has to keep a watch on him.

not to mention that feron had a bunch of other accounts anyways, from what TD (and feron himself) has told me. Which is also breaking the rules...

Feron should be unbanned. He has given amazing contributions to controversial topics that have to deal with our lives, and some of his posts have even changed me. I don't see other people getting angry because Feron is breaking the rules (atleast not the administrators) and just because he was being immature at times doesn't mean he cannot contribute to the quality of the boards as well as the discussions. Maybe you can implement democracy here, you know, make a poll and see whether people want Feron back. That way you'd know what we want and everyone will be happy, since admins are dedicated to keeping the boards enjoyable to everyone, right?

5000TH POST BITCHES. DEDICATED TO FERON.

So you want the staff to babysit him is what your trying to say.

I never noticed anything he has contributed except he did Dreamstate and made one or two nice bikes. Other than that he really didn't do anything else except assmunch with blah.

Edit:

http://www.gtastunting.net/forums/index.ph...sult_type=posts

I stopped looking after the first page, you can see for yourselves. No respect for the staff, or anymore, he feels his views of stunting are dominant against anyone else's.  His language and maturity for a nineteen year old can easily be supported by his actions. If you guys want him back then it's just going to be your problem. He tries to act like NightKnight by posting penises and other material as much as does it for a joke. I'm almost rarely on GTAS anymore  or find myself stunting at all, I rarely appear in vids so I don't care if you guys unban him or not,, it would just be better off let as it is.

Most of the time skinning jobs are done over MSN.

The world records are a joke nonetheless, You high performance computer and endless hours of stunting or the simple change of a speed configuration can get you a so called spot on the record list.

Even if that was almost a year ago if the staff are gonna give you some power, you might as well respect them for doing it, acting like that is just pathetic.

Being a regular stunter in the Pwnage game I can safely say that the VC pwnage game was PERFECT, everyone played it and everything ran so smooth and perfectly in that single topic, ever since Feron (someone who doesn't even play the game) interfered and created several sub-sections, it had become more of a hassle to find things instead of just looking in the first post of the topic. Not to mention that people got sick of the hassle it produced and now it has died off.

The outcome would not make much of a difference to me, but I would rather let him stay banned. Thats why, my little thai friend.

Feron has had so many chances already. That's what the warning system is for; you get warned and suspended for a while, then you get a chance to stop doing what you were doing wrong. Apperantly Feron wasn't mature enough to handle that (even with several accounts!). Some people should start taking there warnings more seriously if they want to keep posting here.

Personally I don't think he's worth another chance.

There are plently more members who cause more shit than Feron, even some in this topic. Why the staff has singled out Feron concerning post behaviour is, in my opinion, just personal thoughts.
