Also crews usually want an audition video before accepting members. If you want to join, make an audition video (preferably with new stunts) and send it to one or more of NUs members.
Edit: also maybe you NU guys should have like an info topic or something? seems like a fair share of people are unsure of how they can join

The kind of members we want are able to figure out how to accomplish that by themselves instead of having everything written out for them.

Really dude? I mean what about people who haven't been around GTAS before, how are they supposed to know how we do things around here? Another thing is that people with poor english skills could benefit from some basic information.
I thought anybody could join NU as long as they had the skills, at least that's the impression I got when you started the crew. Skills in stunting doesn't have anything to do with being able to navigate the forums or whatever. Hell I didn't even discover these forums until after I had released my third video. I had no idea how to join a crew, but I already had the experience required to be in one.

We've turned down auditions that where by my standards more than good enough but some of the other members declined them because they didn't know what kinda people the people who were auditioning were.
If you ask me I think that's fucking retarded unless we're talking about people with a destructive personality who we could kick if it was necessary but I don't decide for the rest of us so that's how it is.
The reason I say they should figure out how to accomplish it by themselves is so they ask around a bit and start contacting people and do a little bit of networking so when they come to us with an audition, they have already established their character to us so those who want to know how they are as persons will hopefully have seen enough to make an informed decision.

Alright fair enough. I wouldn't have accepted people solely based on their stunts/skills either, but as I was under the impression that NU was more about the wow factor than social relations, I figured it was worth pointing out.
