NFS 2015/UG3 (?)

To me the series died years ago, but I'm a bit curious nonetheless. Hopefully the development time of 2 years and the cooperation with Speedhunters does good for the game. More stuff to come at E3 next month.

They better go all in with the development of this and not make it yet another worthless title and ruin the Underground series in the process.

It looks amazing, can't wait for the trailer. This might save the NFS franchise.

I was stoked for Underground 3, but as soon as I saw the cop car I went NOPE, I DON'T NEED THIS BULLSHIT IN UNDERGROUND, so I'm thinking it might be a new Carbon game

It's been shit after the first Most Wanted. Hopefully they make it decent.

Need for Speed is said to feature deep customization, authentic urban car culture, a “nocturnal” open world, and an immersive narrative. In other words, it sounds like we’re getting a new Need for Speed Undergound game, even though EA has yet to call it such.

Sounds great, but I don't think they'll have the balls to name it UG3. A possible letdown would be their final funeral.

In the first Most Wanted I really liked the cop chases. Later on it just got too stupid with nitro power ups, traffic magnets, retrievable tires and such. It literally turned into a miscarriage of Burnout & Mario Kart.

Visually Rivals looked decent with the Frostbite 3 engine, but was limited to 30 FPS (lots of input lag in a race game where responsiveness is vital...). Such graphics with UG1/2 alike gameplay really would be something, but I'm pretty sure they won't live up to the expectations. I also don't think the footage of that teaser video was in-game realtime, even though the engine shouldn't be underestimated.

Yeah, I was thinking about that while I was watching it. That looks really good but it seemed way too realistic to be the actual graphics of the game.

It can't continue UG2 story since it's been continued already in MW. We were the same guy from Underground until Undercover.

True, except Pro Street though. Same universe but different person.
