The ending kind of ruined it. Rest of the movie is still worth it though.

I assumed from the premise that it was going to be dumb, but not as dumb as it actually turned out to be. Horrible dialogue, lousy performances and a plot that just gets more and more nonsensical as it goes along. Good effects and sound, but that doesn't even come close to saving it. Ironically it sunk at the box office.

3/10.

The Korean version is better I think.

Going to rewatch The Green Mile. RIP Michael Duncan...

Wow... Disturbing and fucking sad. Its a documentary about heroin addicts. Sometimes i really thought: holy shit look at these people, like they are so fucking full of drugs. they is like no humanity left in that room.
Really shocking and sad.

At first I was wondering whether it would be shit, or similar to any other movie of that genre but it turned out pretty nicely. Such a tough work done on atmosphere, that's the first Carpenter I've seen, might give a try to his masterpiece later.

Knew it would be good, and it didn't disappoint apart from the pinderback/pinckleback's part which made it look common to all the Sci-Fi's movie taking place in space : "wooh creepy dude getting/appearing in the space shuttle".

Other than that it was great, and as rare as it is it looked quite close to what it may be. No wonder they've engaged a scientific team.
