USS Video Releases / Re: [USS] 2028
« on: September 02, 2019, 02:09:18 PM »
nice to see one more vid from you guys, it was really unexptected in 2019.
everything is great, editing, stunts, but i feel like i'm watching old video from 09, you know i'm saying?
maybe i'm just tired of it. i'm sorry it's just me.
btw, any map modding there? i'm asking because i have this idea (finisher) too. I know that "bump" is impossible, there is no collision.

this video proves that gtastunting is a project of gta makers. some of gta stunters are game developers, that's why they have old videos from 2004.
Spoiler: show

on topic,

i remember that kizen was one of my fav vid when i was young, but i'm gonna rate this just as a stunt video, but not as a remake type video:
+ : stunt video in 2019, fun/interesting edit
-  : grey weather in some parts, default cam angles (i know how lazy we are to make stunt vids nowdays)
but anyway i enjoyed watching it, good job!

SA Stunting Challenges / Re: REPLAY CRASHES SUCK ASS!!!
« on: July 07, 2019, 04:05:15 PM »
I don't remember the last time i had replay crash.. I just keep my GTA SA User Files folder clean of replay.rep - only saved games and settings file, that's all. When i landed stunt i'm waiting like 10 secs or a bit more, after i press F2 and keep waiting a bit, probably 10 secs - it's enough. Then, you can watch it or alt tab to move rep from the folder
to another place, but keep GTA SA User Files clean.
I guess replay crashes may cause of fast moves like press F2 and then F3 to watch or fast alt tab after F2, the game probably can't write the file.. but this is only my thoughts.

WH Video Releases / Re: Burn - Meditation II
« on: May 21, 2019, 08:30:59 PM »
I don't care about this community as I used to when I was younger, but I still like to visit gtas from time to check out new vids/topics. San Andreas/Vice City stunting is "dying" because some children have grown up and do other things in life and those who were adults probably lost interest after so many years spent here. Now, some new kids play GTA V and this is understandable because it's popular, as well as GTA V stunting. It's a normal process of development for each gaming community.  The fact that community is "dying" doesn't change the community rules. I personally have nothing against Burn. I remember when Burn started to stunt. I think that one of the first collabs where he participated was "Tangente Universe" organized by myself, I invited him via MSN and he sent good and clean stunts. After he joined WH, I believe he felt the freedom to bypass the rules. Burn has skill, that's not questionable. I even like some of his technical/creative stunts but I know how easy is to mod big air stunts in San Andreas and the mechanism behind it. First they find impressive spot that's maybe possible, maybe not but after some attempts they realize that it isn't possible and then they lower gravity just a bit so they can land. If you drop gravity just a bit, it's unnoticed by observation. People after that try to land a spot, hit close to the top of the building or something else but fail each time to land, after some time they give up and then create an illusion inside their head how spot is possible and how someone is better than they are. These tricks can't pass in Vice City, and my selection is simple. Only those who are proven either in Vice City or in both games are real stunters. Everything else, especially big air stunts in San Andreas are under questionnaire.
Challenge accepted, i want to do it for myself firstly, but also for those who have some doubts.. cya
How can I know that you won't drop gravity?
I could record in live, but since i see this kind of question i doubt if it's a point to do, even if i land it or someone else, you will say i might use something..
Another interesting thing is: Have you ever tried some of those spots? If you only see that stunt is weird (for you) in video, you have nothing to prove imo, maximum is say it's weird.. But impose your opinion is not right i think.
Why don't you ask another stunters this question, you don't know if they use something or not. Maybe you mod your little stunts somehow, but we don't know it, righ? We just believe and rely on our own experience. Maybe those accusations are starting from yourself, cause you don't believe in posibilities of this kind of stunts?
I don't want to say that in your words something wrong, i even gonna agree that it might be like you saying, but dude, seriously, stunting dead, 2019 here, what a point to old stunter like burn mod the stunt? To amaze someone? Pfff, who cares now? And i'm talking not only about burn, just all who still exist.
Stunting is the thing that you can do something that not all can do, it's even kind of art for someone, i'm sure you know about what i'm talking, that's why they are still here. All modders or kids, who stunted only for video to amaze how they do "sick" stunts are quit, i guess, old engine era is dead, but some olders who enjoy the real stunting are still here, for fun.
