Special Stuntin'G-Unit's 10th crew video

Information:

Heyho GTAS! I'm proud to finally present you the 10th offical crew video by SSU. This video kinda is what Orion was supposed to be and I think I don't lie when I say that this might be the best video of SSU so far. We luckily didn't have much complications this time, so pretty much everything worked out as we hoped. Stunting phase actually wasn't too long since we had some stunts left from our previous SA video. Furthermore we gathered couple more guys which speeded that up aswell. Those guys are jeff, Ktulu & Plani who deicded to come back to us (welcome in once again guys). With this amount of stunters we managed to create a video with 2 main parts which include some great variety imo.

It was a pain to get it done overall though, because my HDD didn't offer enough space, so I had to move lotta footage via USB stick to my dad's PC. I also once again had problems with rendering, but uh... I got used to it with my videos kinda. Same goes for uploading, therefore not all versions & streamings are available yet. They're still upcoming, so don't upload it please! The XQ version will include some extra content of the making of phase. Don't expect anything extraordinary from the editing, I intentionally kept it simple as it is a crew video and not just my own video. I'd like to thank my mates for the opportunity to edit this aswell. I think this was the very first time that I edited a crew video of my own crew. Big thanks also go out to PrzemOO & PtRvY which helped me a lot with the scripting related stuff and did also some parts of it. PrzemOO also edited the video's outro and gave me the .veg file along with the required files to render it myself, to ensure that the quality stays up. However, I've typed enough now. Go ahead, have a watch and hopefully enjoy it!

Legit stunting vol. 1.1

Just post your videos in the sections where they really belong to and you shouldn't get in touch with this stuff. Consult more experienced stunters when you have doubts about stunts you're working with for your stunt video projects. Try to stop modding in it's earliest stages. Stay clean.

I've digged this up again to keep it more up-to-date from now on generally (mainly the blacklist thing + actions). Basically nothing changed about MMM's earlier concept for treatments and actions towards modders & modded stunt videos. You're not supposed to discuss in here. We (PrzemOO, JL & Rusch) are more likely the handling hand of the viewers and not the "detectives" all alone as you may think. If you think an action towards a video or somebody was incorrect, feel free to tell in here and we could work it out. Below you find a separated overview and a blacklist.

The following stuff will only affect stunters and their videos, which got posted in the "SA Un-Modded Video Releases" section (if required!).

Things which will be considered about the actions towards modders & modded stunt videos:

- All the comments in the specific topics (so dare helping by opening your mouth)
- How "new" the ascertained modder is to GTAS
- How much work was invested
- Did the specific stunter show off his replay(s) after a request?
- Did the editor know about stunts being modded?
- Is the modder a repeat offender?

Consequences for modded videos:

- The topic will be moved to the "SA Modded Video Releases" section
- The modders get warnings or suspensions╣ furthermore
- Reposting it in the "SA Un-Modded Video Releases" section results in a suspension╣

Consequences for extremely modded videos:

- The topic will be removed
- The modders get warnings or suspensions╣ furthermore
- Reposting it in the "SA Un-Modded Video Releases" section results in a suspension╣

╣ Suspensions:

- Will last 30 days
- Repeat offenders will get +15 days with every new suspension

Blacklist:

Caught modders get listed below with their number of warnings/suspensions and videos.

Limited Sight

Heyho GTAS, I'd like to present you some FL ON restricted collaboration entitled Limited Sight. The progress was kinda slow due to editing stuff, but we're glad it is finished now. Just in case you're wondering how PrzemOO stucked that car in the fence, there is no collision so you can just drive into it. Unfortunately TheGT4sm didn't recieve or used a wrong replay of Gryzlek's BSM, he had landed the carpark's higher part aswell. FlatHead also somehow didn't appear in the video, although I think he had landed something aswell hmm. Well what else to say? Just wanna thank everyone who participated and specially TheGT4sm for the editing. Oh and we'd be thankful if somebody could make a streaming version. Enjoy!

GILF

Heyho GTAS, here's some spontaneous old spots solo video. I couldn't arse me to insert my skins, change the weather & daytimes and didn't edit anything in here at all. I landed the stunts either for fun, lost the spots or gave the stunts to other guys. First off I wanted to call it MILF since it's mother's day today, but all stunts are old so I thought GILF is more fitting. :P

I won't render & upload a higher quality one. I'd be thankful if somebody would make a streaming version for me though.

E: Audio is somewhat bugged and out of synchro for me, hope it's only me :<

E2: That "floaty look" is caused by the stream.ini extender modification.

FFS Remake

Informations:
Hey GTAS, 3 weeks ago I was stunting in SA a little and landed TD's opening stunt from TMS FFS. I had some time to bypass on that friday so I kept landing some stunts of the original video while I didn't really care about the execution's similarity. The next day I was on about to land the other stunts, but I somehow didn't manage to nail a few stunts so Sheikah helped me out a little to have all the stunts relanded. Relanding the stunts took me around 3 hours, would've been more with the others obviously. So yeah this rather turned out as a duo video. I have to thank Sheikah not only for landing the missing stunts, but also for editing the video. The song & editing didn't get copied from the original video. Well what else to say? Gotta thank TMS for that sweet 24h video and I hope you enjoy these relanded stunts.

Community Council / Arcade games?

Heyho GTAS,
I remember we had some old arcade games involved in the private TMS/NB forum where Kindergarden was developed. It was quite much fun to race for the highscores. Is it possible to include some here aswell? The internet seems to be full of such free scripts.

SAMP Session

Heyho GTAS, recorded some random trash stuff on SAMP today and threw it together for a little video which is below 1 minute now. The quality is really fucked up cuz my PC used to lag even on 1280x720p online lol. Pixel aspect ratios were also party different cuz I recieved a few other shots via MSN, thanks to those once again. It's nothing serious, just some boredum crap including Anoobis, Puzzle, Genyus, TurBo & me. :P

Oh and on that second thing Anoobis was supposed to land on my boat in midair, SAMP used make it a mysterious thing with 2 different endings :hmm:

WH Video Releases / [SA] Rusch Hour 3
« on: December 25, 2010, 10:04:17 AM »

Heyho folks, happy late christmas feast! Santa Rusch got a little gift for you trolololo. I finally finished up my third best of video with a delay of 7 months lol. Some time ago I had started this project, but I was totally unsatisfied with all the stuff I had done, so I just deleted everything and started over once again ^^. It wasn't my intention to finish it up this year, but oh well I just arsed me to do it now. :P

General information:

I don't mind getting negative comments about the editing. It's just a hobby for me and I ain't editing for the viewer as it'd be a customer. I just enjoy editing videos and wanna have some fun while doing. Well at the end it was a little rushed and some stuff didn't really work as I hoped. But oh well, I somehow got used to having problems when it comes to rendering/uploading/etc. lol, this old hardware and slow connection are not really up to date and can't really catch up. However, I really raped this setup with rendering and such already. I'm pretty happy that it's finished up now. Well what else to say about the editing? I can only explain some stuff inbefore which didn't work out. For some unknown reason that feather of the CookieCutter effect didn't get applied on the renders, so now it got some ugly sharp edge. I could've fixed that manually with masking, but tbh I was too lazy lol. I also forgot to finish the editing on that double grind at the Chiliad mountain lol, I simply skipped it and forgot about. On those hangar stunts in LV I had to generate that moving object with masking, but sadly I couldn't do that on the last camera angle. But don't worry, the bump really happened when it was moving. I had added some sparks to the video, but Vegas weirdly used to crash on renderings whenever it reached such an uncompressed .avi which I rendered in AAE. Strange that it didn't on the thunderstorm though. On the outro I forgot to enable ENB Series on the first stunt as I noticed later on. Also the ingame brightness was higher than on those other clips, so that is overall a little brighter. On the credits I also forgot to list that VirtualDub was in use, but oh well, who cares lol. Sorry if I also forgot to thank anybody (<3).

The music this time is partly pretty different compared to what I usually use. I've mixed up some songs and just had big fun editing with those, I felt like a little boy in a sandbox lol. I've also finally used a song by band of my hometown, I always wanted to edit something on that one. However, feel free to dislike that mix up, I like it lol.

Well yea most of the stunts already got released as usual. Some are still new and were not in any video. Today I just lost that recoil P2B to palm to somebody in that SA Christmas collab, so don't blame me lol. Also don't complain about the 2x grind at the Chiliad being unfinished, getting that 3rd curve is ulta luck + the next tree 10ft ahead would stop you anyway. Btw: That Cabbie boost at the docks has been landed with FL ON and H-pressing, fuck rollboosting lol. I'm extremely happy that I finally managed to reland that finisher spot. I had landed it some time after my Rusch Hour 2 video, but lost the replay concerning some gay ass OS issue. Took me almost 1,5 years to reland that damn fucker ^^. Just relanded it one day after the release of Warfare, perhaps would've been finisher there if I'd have landed it again any earlier.

There is only a HQ version available yet which is splitted into 2 parts. You have to download both files, make sure they got the same direction (or search manually) and extract them. KM told he'd pack it again as single file and reupload it. More links of various sites are welcome except YouTube, Dundee is going to take care of a streaming there now. Thanks for any hosting help guys! I've rendered a MQ and LQ of the video aswell and I'll upload them later on. I'll also try to encode some XQ version afterwards for you quality wankers, but I hardly doubt that is going to happen with my left HDD space. Either way, I hope you guys will enjoy this video!

Heyho, I'm having some problems with Vegas and hope somebody can help me out.

Whenever I set the "Video rendering quality" option above "Good (half)", the preview window turns red on some clips and freezes the program when I try to preview any frame of those. That ain't a problem while editing since I'm not previewing everything on maximum settings, but when I want to render any file, ofc I'm setting the "Video rendering quality" to "Best" in the Project tab. No matter what format I'm using, it crashes whenever it reaches one of those "corrupted" clips.

Works fine:

FUUUUUUUUUUUU-

I thought it might be the effects amount I got upon some clips since my hardware is pretty weak, but even when I disabled all of them, it kept crashing. I also tried changing the format of the source clips, but that didn't help either (well Fraps' codec doesn't seem to be the problem anyway since the clips use to work, just not on maximum settings). I've also tried disabling the preview on renderings without success.

Afterwards I tried some suggestions I found around Google & YouTube, but nothing actually helped of what I tried. Hope you guys got some ideas or sth else.

And my system specs:

WinXP 32bit SP3
MSI MS-7204
Intel Pentium D830 (2 x 3,0 Ghz)
Nvidia GeForce 7950 GT (512 MB)
Infineon <idk-the-product's-name> (3 GB)

Community Council / Warning the modders
« on: November 16, 2010, 06:39:35 AM »
It's pissing me (and MANY others) off to see some fags obviously modding stunts and not admitting they did. They're even reoffending most of the times and don't fucking get it that modded stuff doesn't belong to the un-modded subboard. That's clearly a repeating breach on purpose which really should get handled with warnings and bans following when they keep on doing. Yes, you can not always proof that a thing was modded, but there has been so many obvious bullshit. Lets get rid of that then, it'd be a first step at least.

Some modding fags will just change their nickname whenever they got banned and will pop up again with a fakeaccount. Many of them even will still mod as they used to before. That way they're breaking a rule once again:
Quote
10. No multi-accounting. If you want your name changed, PM an admin.
Those fags don't get it, they've to get banned over and over again.

People deserve a second chance (Tack is a good example here I guess). Either people tell straightly that their stunts were modded and post them in the correct section or gain a warning. Whoever gains 3 warnings gets a straight ban, they've had their chance to be honest or to stop modding.

WARN/BAN THOSE FAGS!!!!! <_<

WH Video Releases / [SA] Endlessity II
« on: September 25, 2010, 06:31:04 AM »

:euro:

Well, this ain't RH3 as you see lol. Its Endlessity II which includes mainly leftovers, fun stunts, random ideas and a few flukes which I've collected over the time from Endlessity 1 until now. I got no clue if any included stunt is already old, but I left out those from which I knew they're. There are many lame ones inbetween, but I rather get rid of everything I got laying around instead of just keep them molding around my HDD. :P

Actually I was not supposed to be the editor of this video. I wanted to let Fl4sH edit it again, but I hadn't seen him on MSN for ages. However, I asked BeaT, Onix, Flow and Omega afterwards. But nobody actually managed to get something done. I've just took it on my own now. Edited always a little bit afer school/work during this week and rendered it over the night. So there is no big effort on that aspect, its just thrown together kinda. I wanted to use another second song on the main part, but I noticed that I still had enough stunts left for a longer song and even with that Sheikah16's guest stuff didn't find place (sorry again). I still got a little amount left off from like 80 replays or so.

However, I hope you'll enjoy this long ass video which is filled with quite different kind of stunts. Its an okay mix overall I think. I won't render/upload anymore video files of this. I already kept the quality kind of low and uploading these ~300MB took around 5 hours to upload. I'd appreciate it if somebody is willing to upload it to other hosts or streaming sites. Enjoy! :)

Runup is on that purple wall. Drive along and jump off at it's end to cross the street. Grind the building's ledge and drop onto the fence which should get grinded aswell. Good luck.

SA Un-Modded Video Releases / [GTAS.de] PARABELLUM'S SORROW
« on: July 03, 2010, 02:08:35 AM »

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Heyho GTAS, I'm happy to finally release the third community video of gtastunting.de. It has been a really long time since our last community project, but we managed to come up with something now. I am sorry for the big delay, but it wasn't really my fault. You know who you rather blame. Also sorry that some stunts became old, but that is a part of such huge projects I think, cuz of the long editing phases.

During the editing many problems caused setbacks. Such as SentitneS & ICy dropping their work, they were supposed to edit the intro (ICy) and outro (SentitneS). So more and more work got on my back, at the end 200/250 GB of my HDD were filled up with stuff of this project. I also had some massive rendering problems, but somehow managed to get it done after MANY hours of rendering and a lot of frustration. I am really happy to finally finish this project.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well what else to say about the editing? Overall I am satisfied with the suff I did. I tried to really keep it simple this time. I can't really add such an amount of crazy effects up on a video which represents the whole german speaking community here. I noticed some specific effects made Vegas going to crash on the renderings, so I had to delete the 3D track motion I did on the transition from SnowMan's to Requiem's stunt for example. Also it was pretty annoying to render everything twice all the time to kinda fake this Windows7 look on the border's background. Could have been done on one render aswell, but it was easier this way. On the border's bottom is the town listed the current stunter comes from. Don't wonder about places like London or Sopron for example, signing up requirement was simply to speak german fluently. I hope I didn't forgot to include any stunter in the video or accidently made typing mistakes, used wrong fonts or so. If I did I am sorry for and I hope you got comprehension since it can happen easily on such big projects.

After ICy let down the intro thing, I had to find another scripter who could handle the idea. gtasearcher agreed on doing it, but I hadn't seen him for some days and kinda had time pressure, so I asked PtRvY. He agreed to and tried his best with his knowhow. It didn't turn out totally perfect, but the main things are right. Also I noticed some audio recording of Rushness was missing, but since he didn't respond on MSN and per PM I just dealed with leaving out that little one. Also the video contains lags on specific parts which occur on some effects with the setted bitrate I think. I couldn't arse me to render that whole thing over again with more to probably solve it a bit. Also it was already such a pain to upload these ~500 MB with my crappy 15kb/s upload I had. Took me around 10 hours and it would have been a lot more when I'd have used a higher bitrate. Please do not complain about these things, on such a big video many things can go wrong and these sadly did, so I am sorry for. Nothing is perfect anyway.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The intro actually is a little bit history related. The Parabellum-pistol (aka "Luger") got used in the world wars by the germans a lot. Shame I couldn't find a .dff model for SA to make it fitting it. Instead a stock pistol got used. It is supposed to symbolise some kinda apology through the video's story. Like fightig is useless and just causes shit as you'll see in this story. Anoobis also made a little parody of some well known dude of the german history with the word "raid" as you will hear.

This special Parabellum's bullet misses that aiming guy and heads along the building, what actually turns out in a quandary. I don't wanna spoil too much now, you'll see.

Gotta apologise to Xeno, I couldn't add your clothes to the player.img, otherwise SnowMan for example also would have had the cap you're using since it is the same model. So your CJ is stock and doesn't look like your Fred Durst guy lol.

There will be only a HQ version available. YouTube streaming is coming by Anoobis soon, so keep on waiting or download. I splitted the download version into 3 parts, since I didn't wanna upload ~500 MB straihly. Specially not now cuz I got a little problem with my LAN cable and probably would have had to start all over again when it crashes for once.

GTA Modding / Tack's Green Screen Hangar
« on: February 01, 2010, 07:20:23 AM »
Heyhey, I gotta lil request. I remember Tack made a public green screen texture for the huge plane hangar on the LV airport (where the AT400 is in). For some upcoming editing I could need it, so I am asking if anybody still has it or at least could tell me the .txd file's name. I'd paint it myself then instead. I know SanAnStudios also got a green screen mod, but I prefere Tack's. Thx if anybody gets/still knows what I'm talking about. I'm appreciating any replys. :jajaja:
