I can't even imagine what will I do if I complete an amazing p2b that I was trying for a long time and the packer disappers in the replay <_<
no, no, it's still there during the replay, but it will sometimes be gone after you end the replay.
Thats a good thing but still imaging

i found out a couple more things about replays. also, i clarified a few things i told you before, and in the process just rewrote the entire chunk of info i gave you about replays just for the sake of making it easier to read and more organized. so, delete the current section on replays and copy&paste what you see below. you can call it "The new and improved Buzzsaw report on replays". :P hehe. j/k

F1 - Shows the last 30 seconds of game play.
F2 - Saves the last 30 seconds of game play to: "My Documents / My SANAN folder / replay.rep"
F3 - Shows the last saved 30 second replay.

Important: rename the replay file or it will be overwritten the next time you press F2.

Details about replays:

- Unique stunt jump replays are NOT shown in slow motion.
- There is NO cinematic camera for replays. However, you can still zoom and rotate tha camera.
- CJ does not swim during replays, he treads water fast.
- If the Packer ramp is raised it will still be in the lowered position during replays, and if you have a vehicle on the Packer it will look like it's floating above the ramp.
- Blur effect of highspeed driving is NOT shown during replays.
- Vehicles are sometimes different colors during replays (example: a red & black Squalo will be red & white during replays).
- Wheels on motorcycles and bicycles do not spin during replays.
- Jet pack is invisible during replays.
- Flames are sometimes invisible during replays when your bike is on fire.
- Watching a replay will often cause a second vehicle (such as a Packer used for a p2b) to disappear after the replay is over.
- CJ's head and upper body agitate intensely when he leans forward during replays.
- Bullets (ammo, not the car called "Bullet") and rockets are invisible during replays.
- Hydra's landing gear is down during replays.

are you sure? i've noticed differences in replay length based on region, just like in VC, but not a noticeable difference when the "reduced traffic" cheat is on. are you using any mods? sometimes mods effect replay length.

I just figured this out and maybe alot of you guys already know this, but for some that just didn't think about it, here's a very simple and useful tip to help resolve an annoying camera angle. Since going around corners or in buildings, many times give you a side angle and may annoy you as you try to set up for your stunt and having to move your mouse everytime to see your goal. Just tap the side look and it will center back to behind view. It really saves alot of time not having to move the mouse everytime you attemp a stunt. Hope that made sense, just writing this down before i head off to work I think this should be added and maybe worded a bit more effectively

d00ds!
i figured out how to get cinematic camera angles during replays. the replay will show any camera angle you use during game play (as the default angle. meaning, don't move the mouse). so if you want the cinematic camera during replays you have to turn it on and fiddle with it before watching the replay. the crappy part of this is that if you want a cinematic shot of the stunt itself then you have to use the cinematic camera while performing the stunt. but if you want to use cinematic "aftershots" when the stunt is completed (myself and the other XSA guys often did this in our PS2 vids and it looks really cool, and it will look even nicer on PC) then just configure the camera before hitting F1. if you're worried about the replay being too long when including the aftershot and thus cutting off the beginning of your stunt, then just save the rep immediately after completing the stunt and then create a second rep of the cinematic camera angle(s). i STRONGLY recommend doing that, so you don't take any chances with losing the beginning of your stunt when you try to include the stunt itself and the aftershot in the same rep. also, remember, if you want to use more than one cinematic angle (or just want to find the best one for the occassion) you can change the angle with the right analog stick on your gamepad or whatever controls the camera in your keyboard configuration. during the replay you CANNOT change the cinematic angles, as it basically just "records" what you did with the camera before hitting F1. also, if you're having trouble getting the cinematic angle you want, or just don't know what's available, move around a little. if the angle is "blocked" by anything then it won't be available, so just reposition yourself until the angle becomes available. sometimes you won't be able to get every possible angle even if you move around a little. your surroundings will also effect what angles are available. there will be times when no matter how much you reposition yourself you still won't be able to get every single angle. the hardest angle to get is the "flyby" camera (which imo is the coolest one) because there can't be anything to block the camera along it's course of motion.

Sorry for double post, but is anyone else noticed that fps is locked to 25 while watching replay. I turned the frame limiter off and it still locked to 25?
