TMS Video Releases / Re: [SA] Explo - Cosmos

Loved it. Everything about it felt so nostalgic. For a moment I thought it was Poets of the Fall I'm hearing. ;D

Loved those MTB and BSM stunts. There were a lot of stunts in this video that I could see myself trying to land back in the day. Actually reminds me we had a very similar stunting style you and I... made me wanna watch Titans again. It's been 17 years!

I don't do video commentaries, ever, but thought I should take the time to properly comment on this, while also reminiscing about the old days. Apologies if I appear ignorant in my commentaries, I'm not up to date with much that has happened to stunting after 2008.
Shoutout to Nem for organizing this and making me feel part of this community again.

Loved the intro and the fact that Promagic is taking the pandemic very seriously, sleeping with his mask on. :D Loved the intermission, and seeing Chapter XXIII on the TV was a nice nostalgia touch; the transition to Raekwon's stunt was really well made too.

Stunts that stood out for me:
2:45 78, I love precision landings, especially when combined with a triple-bump.
8:25 Lex, don't know how hard it was, but really liked the precision perfection.
9:13 zZarnik, genius! Looks like something someone would think of while stoned.
12:26 SyperDimon, might look easy but I remember these can be a bitch.
14:05 Biel, I love MTB stunts and that combo was awesome. Although the overall editing was fabulous, the way this stunt was recorded didn't seem to do it justice. Would have looked better in one continuous cut in my opinion.

I feel honored to be on the Special Thanks list, as my only contribution was an ancient stunt landed 15 years ago, in December 2005.

It was really emotional to see this video dedicated to my big brother. Thank you, Nem.
Although Florin was not much of a gamer, never really a stunter and never part of these forums, he was familiar with this community back in the day and really supportive, often watching stunt vids together with me and always remembering to praise my work, regardless of the quality. Turtle Dick's nickname always amused him.
His credits stunt was his only stunt ever landed, unintentionally, one day while randomly playing on my PC. He usually liked to casually roam around Vice City in a red PCJ, or a red Blista Compact. He also provided voice acting for one of my themed videos, "Bad Day", if anyone remembers it.

Big thanks to Nem for organizing this and drawing me out of my fungi cave. You rock!

Great work Nem, so strange seeing myself in new stunt vids. I find it hard to believe how we, long extinct stunters, still manage to inspire other people, considering how I never seen myself as more than an average player with too much time on my hands.

Thanks for having us in your vid!

Loved it. Really liked Ktulu's air grab, Krypton's sanchez P2B, Mehmet's front wheel bump2grind and Aries' bump in LV. Second and third song not really my taste but it fit Alien City well. Cool intro and editing too. Good job!

Loved the intro and the background details, very nostalgic. What's the story behind that "Neo is missing" poster?
Great to see some familiar names that inspired me in the past, such as Aries and Daffy.
Thanks for including my stunt! As far as I remember that was totally random, unplanned landing, but glad to see it could be put to good use after so many years.
Great job Jakub, Krypton and everyone involved!

Most of the stunts did not feel like "extras" at all. Happy to be in a stunt vid after so many years and glad to see we could put to good use a 13 year old replay.
Great work, thanks for luring me out of hiding!

I remember you. However I remember it being a fake account created by KaynT or ShadowSniper or someone else... can't remember the details, I might be wrong though. Man, so much time has passed...

Damn, really impressed! You guys actually managed to recreate the small editing touches.
Just to be nitpicking: 4:06 needed a 720 spin instead of 360.
And my credits blooper wasn't there! Just joking, no way in hell that spin can be recreated, it was totally random.

Awesome job! ;D

V Chat & Support / GTA V compared to SA/VC stunting
« on: January 29, 2017, 05:24:56 AM »
Hello everyone,

More than 3 years have passed since GTA V was released and I realize I haven't touched the game yet, shame on me. Recently, I've been watching some stunt vids and I have to ask, what's up with those physics? It seems that bikes are floating when they are upside down, can someone please explain how that works?

Also, I would appreciate is someone could quickly summarize the differences between GTA V stunting vs. SA/VC stunting.

Thanks!
