Easily a top level V video, and easily the best edited.

There's not many reliable spots to that position, it's at such an awkward angle compared to the rest of the run-up - perhaps with some luck, bumping the small ledge you drive off into the sewers could provide some help however the angle and the speed means you'll go way too far

However, bumping that ledge to skip going up the sewers should save about half a second.

Here's a small rundown for you

When bikes are flipped, the bike will be pulled forward in the relative downward direction of the bike (so if the bike is tilted 180 degrees, the bike will be pulled more upwards, if the bike is pulled at a 135~ degree angle, it will be pulled a 45 degree angle forward, and is the optimal tilt)

On Xbox 360 and PS3, cars have the ability to glide with less control by tilting forward, and will be pulled in the upward direction of their windshield.

Bailing is less frequent in V, leading to more complex techniques (like different grind techniques with motorbikes and BMXs, such as handlebar grinds, cogslides, etc but this is more advanced stuff). Bumping itself is a lot easier (by that, I mean less likely to bail), while  getting a perfect bump is a lot less prevalent (IMO). Bumping relies more on the runup and how you take it, rather than getting lucky with a long RAD, for example.

There's no cabbie boosting.

Multiplayer stunts are more common (more accessible multiplayer and all), so techniques like jet engine launches (using the force of the engine to propel something) exist.

Jet stunting is still honestly the same, it's amazing as ever, but with slightly more advanced techniques, like 1-wing flying, and backwards stuff.

FPS is somewhat of a factor in stunting, though not a big deal as some make of it - wallclimbs (where you ram your front wheel into a wall and are propelled upward) are bigger on higher FPSes but are seen as a cheap way of landing something. Superbumps are a form of bump on 30FPS, where the suspension is not given enough time to calculate some shit (ask VaNilla) and launches you upward at a seemingly random value.

DLCs and stuff allow for more creativity (parachute cars and the jet engine Voltic are two such example).

More defined hitboxes on buildings allow for skydive stunts too.

The V stunting community is a lot larger than the GTAS community (probably larger than SA/VC was at its peak?) with rising popularity from stunting channels like RedKeyMon, BenBuja, Evolve Stunting, etc.

The team atmosphere still exists, with the most prominent teams being Nomad Union, Evolve Stunting, Revolution Stunting, Cryptic Stunting, and some French teams which are becoming better and better.

Modding is a big deal in V. There's a few ways to mod in this game, ranging from slightly lowered bike mass, to straight up speed boosting. Not much has really changed from SA/VC though.

BMX stunting is sort of its own little thing, similar to how jet stunting is its own thing in SA. There's too much to cover here, maybe someone will come in and cover for me on this section, I'm not very well educated in it.

Not sure what else to put so hi

// some other stuff regarding community stuff

bike skins aren't really accepted yet, though we hope this will change as more people switch to PC, however bike colour changes (from buying bikes in MP) is accepted.

modding for money is acceptable (shits expensive yo, we ain't spending $102934 on money)
modding for bmxes is acceptable (coloured bmxes are impossible to obtain otherwise)

there's somewhat elitism amongst console users and PC users, as well as a hot debate about 30FPS / 60FPS / 61+FPS.

A lot of old stunts (or stunts needly tacked on to other ones), but the video was enjoyable regardless - carbump2clocktower was very nice, and I lost the finisher :P

There isn't really a specific guide, unless you're on a BMX but that's quite a bit more complex

It's more, smash the wall with your front wheel while tilted upwards and hope for the best
