Hello all,

I browsed some mod/hack site for the PS3 the other day and it told something about Linux. I watched movies of it on youtube and it fcking looks awesome. Basicly you can turn your PS3 into a PC.

I got a site with a tutorial of how to do this but I'm not sure if i should do it cause it may give errors, a HD crash or any other risks for my ps3?
Does anyone got Linux on their Ps3 and could give me some proper information? Would help ALOT.

why the fuck would you want to waste 600 dollars to put an os you can just put on your pc?

Waste? Why waste? Os is free and you can easily change it to the ps3 settings.

Anyways, can anyone inform me about this cuz i have no fucking idea what it is.

I think it's safe, in one of the menus it actually says "install another OS"
