SA Un-Modded Video Releases / Re: Evolution of Infernus Stunting
« on: March 11, 2023, 12:44:19 AM »
Finally found the time to watch this entirely.
First of all amazing effort dude, I can't even imagine how many hours went into this project. Seeing the majority of infy stunts from 2005 to nowadays really helps to see the evolution of this kind of stunts.
The video was too long to remember all my thoughts that popped up throughout and I did not take notes meanwhile watching, so here are some of my thoughts (remember, this is just my opinion):
- I never heard of How3tt but his stunts unquestionably stood out in 2005, way ahead of his time
- TD was amazing before everyone else. I remember that in this video the first wow moment for me was at one of his stunts, probably in 2008
- around 2008-2009 the quality of infy stunts reached a considerably great level, I felt more and more dropbumps and curbbumps were being landed at time
- Stevex had some groundbreaking infy stunts back then, never really noticed he was that good with infy
- credit has to go to Mewka and Liviu based on my feelings. Also, Requiem had some memorable stunts, the Aqua finisher is one of the most beautiful infy stunts ever landed
- it was great to see the evolution of Grescha, he truly mastered infernus stunting around 2010-2012
- krs had totally outstanding stunts in his DV era, I remember loving all his stuff around that time
- Burn has been delivering top notch infy stunts since ages
- Bart arrived to the scene relatively lately but landed some bangers in recent years

Once again a great collection of infernus stunts and thank you for your work Przemoo, it was quite an experience!

GTA Modding / Re: [SA] Sparks Replay Fix
« on: March 11, 2023, 12:41:41 AM »
I do appreciate it, it already looks amazing in your replays shown as examples. Also, thanks for making new additions to SA stunting.
Also, let me insert my previous post on DC's RepCopy tool which I wrote like 10 minutes ago:
It's always awe-inspiring to see such tools are being released in times likes this. I mean it's 2023 and stunting is not THAT active of a scene anymore, I admire the dedication of all of you. But I also think like 'cool, I wish these stuff were released 10 years earlier to make stunting convenient'. Still, thanks pal  :P

SA Chat & Support / Re: AC Collab

Damn AC doesn't have a lot of fans here does it lmao.  :ninja: Double-posting in hopes of more people seeing this and joining. :a-cheer:
It is not AC, it is SA in general. If it was a VC organization topic with such a veteran name as you, it would be blooming. I wonder where this trend started that SA activity seriously declined as VC soared, probably around the start of COVID. Still, it's bitter for me personally to see SA is literally dead.

This sounds helpful, it really solves the tab in/out game crashes which are so annoying.

V Videos / Re: KAARA - Car Stunt Montage
« on: March 11, 2023, 12:12:09 AM »
Although I don't know many V stunters, you Masa are definitely one of my favourites. I have always found your style and stunts distinctive, I believe you have a great vision for stunting. So I'm always happy to watch your videos if I come across one  :P
This was really entertaining, you can clearly see the inspiration from SA stunters here, probably that's why I also liked this video very much. Great dropbumps and so many gap stunts, good thinking on those ones. You see, car stunts isn't just about flying for minutes and then landing something out of nowhere, I found this video much more interesting than those 'normal' V ones. I don't even know what that special ability is, but I'm glad you didn't use it for this video
Hoping to see more in the future, it's worth watching.

Anyone knows the whereabouts of Puzzle? He hasn't been online for a month now, I also contacted him on Discord in November but no answer.

V Videos / Re: Stunts without a Home 3
« on: January 07, 2023, 01:14:57 AM »
I remember watching your videos for some reason, maybe because you kept posting them here
Well it was worth it, I watched this as well. I liked it, it was kinda different from what I usually see in V. My fave has got to be the bridge grind at 2:10, I would have liked it even if you just landed on the bridge (cool watergap + bump), but the unexpected grind made it an amazing stunt.
Also, did you just use frozen water as runup? I'm petitiong this for SA, I want to see what we can make with this.

Finally I was able to finish the video
Great collab, stunting part was the most relevant to me obviously, it was quite enjoyable, liked the variety. Also, I found the drifting mesmerizing, some great sequences and clever use of terrain.
It is a nice touch from you guys to make a giant xmas collab every year where people from different segments come together, I hope you all had fun making this  :P

Lots of cool stuff and also great variety in this. Stunting, editing and the whole vibe of the video was great, I enjoyed it, and it's always a nice touch to gather people together for an xmas vid, I'm happy this year we got a video for this occasion, sadly it's not a thing anymore.
Also, seeing the names here and assuming the activity in this crew, I really hope there is a cv coming soon!

Belated merry christmas and happy holiday to you guys  :a-cheer:

VC Modded Stunting Videos / Re: [TAS] THE SIASIN VIDEO.
« on: December 09, 2022, 12:30:37 AM »
This was genuinely entertaining due to several reasons mentioned earlier:
- on its own it was a brilliant video and it was so satisfying to watch perfect (or beyond perfect) stunts being landed
- it was transparent as you put it there obviously that TAS is being used here
- it was such clever 'parody' of Allbeast's solo, I also have to say this one topped it for me, at least the VM thing was exploited much more IMO (not a VC expert tho, but it was just more enjoyable)
- the interludes were also great, funny and made the video even better
- same is true to the song as well, it was so fitting

Overall it was one of the best vids lately for me and I would like to see more stuff with TAS being transparent about it. Because seeing 'perfect' stunts is always good, and if you land something that's so hard it's practically impossible, then nobody loses valuable spots so at the end of the day we can just enjoy stunting on a whole new level.
I remember checking Allbeasts video where he introduced this thing and based on that I'm not sure that DOING stunts with VM is particularly enjoyable, I mean cutting stunts into several pieces. But the result is indeed oddly satisfying so as a viewer I want more  :D

VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / Re: Barney - Cenotaph
« on: November 23, 2022, 11:05:32 AM »
You know it's a special day when Barney drops a new solo and knowing it's 2022 this came as the biggest surprise yet.
Unbelievable stuff once again, I simply love that some of your stuff remind me to the beloved SA stunting. Technical stunts or bigairs, you own both territory dude. Your vision and dedication to this old game is just remarkable.
My favourite stunts are:
- bridge doublegrind uphill with the 180 degree spin inbetween
- back tankbump
- double grindcombo at 1:35 - also, incase camera work on this!
- both grindcombos at Cherry Poppers Factory - can't even tell which one is better, two of my all-time fav VC grindcombos for sure
- SSM to the yet unlanded roof at 2:45, just holy shit
- p2b2ledgegrind on the Airport building, flawless execution
- PSM2wallkick2grind with MAG at 4:20, I am no expert of VC stunting but this one looks hella hard
- PSM at 4:30 because of that runup
- trashmaster bump 2 antenna prec - my fav bigair in the video, it was so unexpected and yet another unlanded place. I love how the precision stands out from its enviroment, a really spectacular stunt. Oh, and that angle too..

What's also remarkable that the majority of your stunts are simply perfect, they cannot possibly be bettered. No further or higher roofs, no additional grinds could be added, you always go for perfection.

The editing was something new, good job Jason for utilising what's possible with the current set of editing tools, it was very cinematic throughout the video.

We usually never know when/if Barney comes back with another banger, so let's wait patiently and pray for it to happen again. As for now, thanks for the experience once again.
