VC Chat & Support / Re: The AllBeast Method.
« on: February 18, 2022, 07:59:22 AM »

Would you be willing to invest 10000~ (and probably even more) hours on a single stunt that will be only seen and appreciated by a handful of people?

Maybe one day you'll grow up and appeciate hobbies for their own sake and not as a route to achieve a pitiful amount of internet fame.

Of course I appreaciate stunting (probably more than those pesky 05-06 vets that went inactive for more than a decade and returned only when corona hit  :ninja: ), I just see Beast's method as something like Dannye's SCM and other game enhancements (like no bush mod). It is genius, pushes the limits and cuts time spent on a stunt. This doesnt mean you are skipping "something important from your hobby", as you can see Beast also invested a huge amount of time into his solos.

E: It is still weird for me, that this produces so much hateful comments towards Beast's work, while obvious modders like fckr are being praised.

Well aren't you a lovely little cunt. Unsurprising of course you're on the extreme defensive considering you're a co-collaborator in this shit.

I don't even have any hate towards the videos you fucking melt. I have no idea how hard the spots were using VM savestates, nor do I particularly care. They're novelty videos at most and always have been for me.

And I have no fucking clue why you're constantly trying to redirect onto fckr as if it has any fucking relevance whatsoever in this conversation. I don't know the dude, I've barely watched his vids or tried his spots, and absolutely do not give a fuck whether he modded or not.

Some advice for the next decade of your 'activity' - instead of spending as much of it as possible figuring out how you can delve your nose 1 inch deeper into Allbeasts anal cavity, perhaps consider what you could create that actually has some value to the scene beyond that. Like I don't know, creating and hosting a full fledged database that holds literally all the videos this community has ever produced. Pesky fucking veterans amirite?

Nver change GTAS, I can see and feel the anger you used to type this comment with all the inappropriate language you used, I mean its your nerves you are wasting not mine. I can tell you know nothing about me, and I dont care if you do nor you want to know. I am truly entertained and actually glad to see GTAS in its usual state.  :P

In contrary to all the comments that say its "modding", I can say it is just genius. This is what really unleashes the 100% potential of stunting and shows what is possible and what not. AllBeast said he spent over 100 hours on some stunts (with his method), but imagine landing the same stunts without it. Would you be willing to invest 10000~ (and probably even more) hours on a single stunt that will be only seen and appreciated by a handful of people? I personally wouldnt even start trying such stunts as seen in his solo (because thats how much hours I think it would take without his method for the average veteran stuner) - this is what makes his work so genius and entertaining. I mentioned this in another post but I will say it again, throughout the years he really did a lot for the community, including new maps, GTA repacks, HD VC etc. etc. even though his "beasty" nature this method is one of those useful things he did for GTAStunting.
I can agree that when using this method, it should be mentioned in credits/outro of the video, but in no way it should be classified as modding. The same guys that say its modding were probably also raging that RAD's method was also modding back in the days. You know how everything new is looked down and neglected - like the Earth being a sphere and revolving around the sun back in the dark ages and many more examples. Same thing with this method. Its just our human nature to stay in our safe zones, everything new to us is "unsafe", "alien" and "scary".  :ajaja:

Boy it'd be great if I could sound off as one of your 30's homies...

...sigh.

Oh, how rude of me: Happy Birthday!

how old are you kaneda?

Older than the first game.

...and I'm not talking about GTA 1. The FIRST game.

(Actually, upon a little wiki scrubbing - not that old, but darn close)

So either 52+ or 64+  :euro:

I mean modifying collisions to your needs is definitely something new for a 20 year old game  Why didn't we think of this earlier in order to land such grind combos as in this video. And more importantly, why don't we start landing such grind combos right away now that we know that modifying collisions to your needs would help

GTA Modding / Re: [REL] GTA United 1.2
« on: July 26, 2021, 07:11:05 AM »

Final Chapter

Due to the increasing DMCA takedowns against various GTA San Andreas map modifications, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce that we decided to preemptively take all remaining instances of GTA United, including its predecessors VC2SA and LC2SA, down.
This means that, while our team haven't received a takedown notice, we opted ourselves to say goodbye on our own conditions, and that effectively now all our official uploads are taken offline. We are sorry to all the people that enjoyed playing GTA United, many of which we had positive interactions with, but this is a step we felt was necessary, as Take Two and Rockstar Games seem to gradually reject more and more "Modding" of their games, even if it's the older ones.

We want to use this opportunity to say thanks to all the people that have helped with the creation, maintenance, hosting and support of GTA United. It has been a pleasure to work alongside such talented and dedicated people, an experience we shall never forget, and without all of you it would not have been possible to pull off.
There were so many layers to the whole project, so many little details and even small secrets hidden away, that at times it felt overwhelming to work on the project. To us, it wasn't just about merging the maps of two of our favourite games, it was about bringing them once again to life. From small missions and races, radio stations, a breathing world through working pedestrians in the streets, new load and menu screens, custom graffities and hundreds of items handplaced in the world, including our own collectables in form of United numplates. These are only a couple of the things we hoped would help people in immersing themselves once again in these iconic worlds.
Above all stands the fun we had while constructing this modification and the fun we had with people enjoying it, so once again, thanks a lot for the great time.

The GTA United Team

Ah this sucks, really shitty decision by Takes Two. Blizzard did smth similar last year to the modders, having a bad experience and losing millions to mods like Dota.
Even if they start taking down officially all the mods it will be impossible to stop people from making mods for these games. Plus, they will never be able to remove all the mods and people from the community will still have copies of the mods and share it between them.
Like... shiet, 99-100% of gtas is playing on modified versions of VC/SA (Dannye's scm, LC/SAiVC and hundreds of other mapmods etc.) and some other filthy modders add their own illegal mods like gravity, antifall, collisions, but thats another story

Flawlessly executed grinds throughout this video. Very nice vibe and cool cooperation, hard to pick favorites as every stunt felt in its right place in this video. Gj everyone involved

Yo great to see another community still doing this thing, and I love how the asian communities keep the style of big airs, even though most of them biggies were oldies. But still very enjoyable video to watch and I have to admit all of you have some really good looking skins (bikes and players)
Btw I wanted to see more voodoo2fbi action by khaimyk but his big airs were cool as well. And Faiz' psm near the ocean beach looked huge

Best tank video ever.
Cant imagine the patience it went to make this. Knowing the potential of the tank Im not as surprised as some other viewers by the airtime and the holy roofs landed, but MAN hands down for the time and effort you put into this. Seeing good tank stunts these days is a rarity and you provided quite the entertainment.
Definitely goes into the category of legendary solos, Im very happy to see those huga ass roofs landed (taxi fellows can make a good use of the rhino on some of them for some new taxi boost gaps or distance landings)

Not that it matters much, but I lost at least 4 spots that I had close attempts/bails, its not the first time I mention this but we think almost alike for tank stunts lmao. And Beast's tank p2b which he lost was also a spot of mine

Cars stuck in fences won't make your grinds any less boring, sorry. Barney doesn't stuck cars and tanks behind every bump to feel like a man.

The double grind with the infernus assistance is a legendary spot, dude. If you find this boring, its no wonder you modded your stunts. And where the fuck did he stuck a tank? The finisher isnt a stuck method if you imply that. In any case, the finisher was originally Barney's spot, which he failed to land at his greatest times, ya summerfeg.

But no matter how much you cry, Barney is long inactive and All Beast is kicking ass in the year of 2021. FACTS  :P

Other than that, a decent above average stunt collection you got there!  ;D
So let me get this straight, you took a shit on his solo out of jealosy or for whatever butthurt reasons you have, but you gave him a pat in the back that his stunting isn't bad after all. Here's my recommendations for ya - keep modding, bullshitting and doing fake accounts, you're obviously better at that than at stunting  ;)

It turns out when I record on full screen youtube the video becomes laggy, oh well, "enjoy" different frames and the sound after the intro of the live reaction

Heres a real life picture of the logo to compensate for that:
