It's a little easier to do funky creative stuff with a pcj. The NRG is just a flat surface. You can't really do as much to do with the model itself.

Think it'd be possible to switch around the black/white on the body of mine? I tried but obviously it just ends up with all the dark corners being blinding white. It's essentially just switching the stripes and the rest but I suck dicks at PS.

I personally like them Blaze, but it had more of a VC style to it (the 1 texture on the whole body, with some modifications).

SA is kinda easier to skin and show details on a bike. Try to get the most out of it.

A++ for a first though!

Thanks man, gonna try and make a couple others soon, it's abit weird going straight from the PCJ body map where everything is laid out to the NRG one.

On the PCJ? I think I have the PSD for that saved I'll try and find it and change it around

The nrg is actually bigger, you have more space to show what you can do, along with editing every tiny detail in the metals file, if you want to. All the pcjs I've seen look the same to me, scratchy texture and metals with some overwhored engine. That's my opinion though, I personally don't like pcjs.

I get what Pendji means; the main body of the NRG is very flat/one pieced as opposed to the PCJ which has more of a shape and different sections. I'd definitely say the NRG allows more room for creativity though since with the main body being one piece you can do alot more stuff, compared to the PCJ where the main body is chopped up into 5 sections. I still prefer PCJ's since that's what I've mainly focused on but NRG's are definitely fun to do, going to try and experiment with some other SA stuff too.

It's good, but the colors are too bright.

Think of Aries's PCJ. It has a stripe across the side and generally looks incredibly good. Put that design on a NRG and it's a big flat piece of metal with a stripe across. That's about 80% wasted space. You're essentially putting a wallpaper on a piece of naked wall. I've yet to really see it being put to good use. Would actually be funny to see Feron do a few NRGs.

How come i don't know Pendji ?

Putting wallpaper isn't always bad. I tried doing some with wallpaper and it was looking cool. ( imo )

Also , depends on how you use your stripe. there's a lot of NRG with stripe design that are epic.

Baseline's infinity is a great example of creativity using a "flat" body. He literally did stuff on it that I don't see happening on a pcj. Stripes fit pcj's more because the body is smaller, but that does not mean they can't blend in on nrg's too. Ktulu made a few striped nrgs that look better than most striped pcj's in my opinion.

This is what baseline's nrg looked like (remade by maggi) they look exactly the same though.

Well, that's my point exactly. Most of the details lie in the body and figures of the actual bike. The big flat space I'm talking about is literally just black. With too much area to cover, it's easier to be minimalistic which this bike is. I do get what you're saying but PCJs compared to NRGs just are better looking imo. It's trying to fill out a 250x250 space compared to a 750x750. You need to be either minimalistic or abstract, since trying to put too many details on that big a surface is gonna look messy as hell. The only bike I really can point out is Rusch's, but that's mostly because of the transparency.

How did he even get that bike, GangstaG or whatever. He didn't stunt all that much?

A bike is beautiful because you love it :lol: . And I personally prefer NRG's.

And about that bike, Baseline actually made it for Veno.
