Manga thread
« on: January 11, 2013, 02:29:06 PM »
So, anyone's been reading this stuff? I'm actually very interested in Berserk manga, since I didn't get as nearly enough as I wanted from the original episodes and two movies. But beware, as it has a shitload of volumes.
Also Tenjhou Tenge (probably misspelled this one) is pretty entertaining. Been slowly following it because of the exact same issue as the latter one.

Also, any interesting ones you'd suggest?

I liked reading Saint Seiya - Lost Canvas (IMO it's better than hades arc). But since it was cancelled, there was never and ending for it.

I occasionally read the touhou manga, nothing special in there but it's a nice pastime. I also used to read Minamoto-kun no Monogatari and Mangaka-san to Assistant-san but the first is getting kinda boring and dragged on and can't find any more downloads for the second.
They're worth checking out though. I also still need to finish Hatsune Mix which I'll probably get to again in a few years.

I was reading Claymore up until recently, I stopped because it started getting kind of ridiculous. It's like the main characters were powerful, but there kept popping up even newer and harder monsters all the time.

The other manga I've read a bit of would be Love Hina, it's one that came with a comic book back in the day and is eccentially what got me in to anime, because I found out there was a anime for Love Hina, so that was the first one I watched. If you don't count Pokemon or Beyblade I guess :P

How did you like Love Hina? My sister always tells me to read/watch it.

Well I loved it back then, and when I watched it. Though I haven't seen it in recent years so I can't really remember. It's your standard Harem, each girl has an arc, each girl is different. It's good fun, but it's far from the best shit ever.

If it's fun to spend time watching it, then it's ok. It's not like I have to watch masterpieces everyday lel
