IV SA 3
« on: November 16, 2012, 12:04:01 PM »
So are anybody playing it? It keeps crashing during the final loading screen which is a huge pain in the neck cause I've got a good selection of stunts (15-20) and I would really like to put together a solo this weekend. Couldn't find any answers online other than "delete your savegame folder" which didn't work at all.

Error message:
EFLC FATAL ERROR: Invalid resource detected - Please re-install the game

Wow! That sounds pretty cool, I'd love to be able to drive in the countryside of SA in the rage engine. Is the map completely finished?

I already have GTA IV installed on my computer, but I haven't tried stunting in it yet. Is there a dannyes uscm for it? or at least a teleporter and invincibility trainer?

I tried to play it, but it lagged like shiiiiit. And I can play IV on 60 FPS - low settings.

Works fine for me. It doesn't come with an option to install the original vehicles, so I made a "stunt legal" fix for the mod a while ago. I'll upload it while I'm out, check back later if you need it :)

EDIT: As for the savegames folder, you need to delete that from your User Files, or from your Rockstar Games folder in "My Documents" if you're using Xliveless. Otherwise, it'll try and load your savegames for IV's default SCO script, while IVSA uses a custom SCO (it's like trying to load original saves with Dannye's SCM in VC/SA). However, it sounds like you've got modified files installed in your EFLC folder, and they're conflicting with IVSA. Try installing a clean version of EFLC (latest patch), then install IVSA directly over it. Should work :)

EDIT 2: Here you go. Firstly, make sure you install the latest patch for beta 3, and install the original vegetation from the addons menu. Once you've done that, paste the contents of the "Modified Files" into your IVSA folder, and it's ready for stunting :)

I sorted the issue by downloading a mod. Apparently I crashed because of the Windows Live thingy, so by bypassing it I was able to play normally.

HOWEVER, I have 35 replays/stunts (Yes, 35!) that I landed on the old version of IVSA, and so I cannot open them in the current version without the game crashing. I tried installing IVSA 2, but I guess that's too new aswell. The thing is, they're marked as TLaD replays, and IVSA 2 and 3 only supports tBoGT. Anyone know a workaround here?
I'm currently downloading the FIRST beta release of the mod to see if I can view the replays using it, but any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Such as, do I need to downgrade my EfLC patch in addition to getting an older version of the mod?

Using the latest version of EFLC, copy the folder to a new location, and install IVSA Beta 1 to it.

I tried an old version but I think it might've been IV-only since it didn't launch at start-up. I'm downloading the correct version now "GTA IV San Andreas Beta 1".

Here's an add-on for IVSA 3 by the way, it features GTA III instead of tLaD.
GTA 4 - GTA 3 STUNTS

E/ Errors, errors and more errors.. Think you could assist me via Teamviewer possibly tomorrow SS? Gotta get the first version but it won't let me download it after the setup process.
