a taxi stunt video
Our 3rd video is here, and it's unique. We wanted to make something even more special, something new. We don't stunt as usual, this time we stunt in only one vehicle. The Collective presents, the first taxi stunts only vid ever made in SA. As usual, enjoy.

*Please download the HQ if you can watch it. The LQ is really bad and you can't enjoy the editing through it. Also the MQ is bigger than the HQ, but it's in much worse quality. Thanks.
*WMV-rendering isn't working for Tackleberry right now, so we had to go for other solutions. We're really sorry for this but we've tried the best we can to fix it. Again, we're really sorry.

As we mentioned Tackleberry can't render wmv. Therefore you have to wait for some kind soul to render one for you, or you'll just watch this really low quality Quicktime version instead:

Pwnage vid guys, loved every stunt in it. That boost2grind in the LS sewers was frikkin unbelievable.
I didn't have any sound to the vid, so I played some reggae in the background. Surprisingly, it felt weird

Enjoyable video guy(s).
Some of the stunts were, maybe a bit of a duh here, a bit weak, or so it seemed. However, some stunts were very good. SA taxi stunting has reached a new level IMO, some heights/distances I didn't think were possible in the SA taxi stunting scene.
I'm finding the videos you guys make more than creative, something I already thought would be.

it worked for me...
It was hard, (had to keep pausing) but I liked the grinds, not so sure about the other stunts though, none of them were really high.

Yeah please, could someone try to make a wmv version of it? I'm sure more guys will be able to see it that way, but I can't fix it.

Im not sure if a .mp4 can be converted into .wmv, but propably the LQ could, but what use would that be...

Sweet vid doods, editing was so clean and nice...intro rocked too. Lucky that you only have one skin, makes life much easier...but still, i bet it was annoying to mess with cookie cutters Some stunts were "weaker" but meh, it was all good. Good job. Nice use of music as well.

Tidy little vid. Some of the crispest editing i've seen, and you managed to make that obnoxious bodyrockers song somewhat enjoyable
Although some stunts were weaker than others, what really surprised me as to how many taxi stunts were left in SA, and your ability to push such a limited stunt this far.
p.s. is an all mtb/bmx vid on the cards per chance?

Well, it's one of the most unique stunt videos i've seen, swapping from song to song seems crazy but it worked pretty well, the editing was very nice, some cool effects and they worked very well with the music. Stunts where great, that boat landing was very good.
I enjoyed the video, well done chaps.

wow! awesome editing tack! This video had a really good feel to it. The use of music was what added to it. All the stunts were awesome considering how hard it must have been to find spots I liked the caligula's stunt also the roof by city hall the grinds boat landings, bails to precision! that train tunnel roof boost was one i was trying but oh well, i think there are maybe only a couple roof boost spots left in SA. great vid collective! you really produce those vids! shame kr3mlin didn't stunt in this though. 9/10

Thanks for the great comments. I think we all (even if all of our members did not stunt in it) can be satisfied with the result. It was fun to make something different, both stunting and editing wise. Some stunts were weaker than others, but that's what to expect for a taxi vid.
Btw Kert, I never used any cookie cutter...

Detailed reviews on this would be hard, saying "great taxi boost, low boost, another great boost, nice grind" all the time would bore everyone including myself. There were really great stunts in this: all grind combos and some impressive high boosts. Making a full taxi vid in SA is a weird idea imo, although you made it work well. Editing was perfect as always, no need to comment that.
The intro was well made, simple idea of making them get into a cabbie at the same time, but you don't see that alot in SA vids. Congrats TheCollective.

- 01:27 - Great idea for a taxi stunt.
- 01:37 - I don't think it was hard.
- 01:46 - Great roof boost.
- 01:56 - Good one, although I don't like planted boat landings. Nice edited.
- 02:05 - Nice one, good idea.
- 02:15 - Weak stunt IMO.
- 02:24 - Same as 01:16, but the grind made it better.
- 02:35 - Long distance, I love it.
- 02:47 - Great.
- 02:55 - Cool.
- 03:08 - Cool, better than the previous one.
- 03:15 - Brilliant, maybe the best stunt of the vid.
- 03:30 - Great one, but a bit too short.
- 03:42 - Nice use of Coach.
- 03:48 - Looked good.
- 03:53 - First one done by Kert in "SA, My Way", second one, going to nowhere, but it looked nice, because you wallclimbed on the second wall too, which was easy.
- 04:16 - Awsome.
- 04:27 - Nice one, but I think Ostis done it in his solo, "Breakthrough".
- 04:37 - Cool grind, the rail a short though.
- 04:44 - Old spot, but very nice in a taxi.
- 04:54 - Great grind, it was nice because you grinded the whole rail.
- 05:02 - Awsome.
- 05:07 - Brilliant, great way to end the vid.
Editing, intro and music:- Awome editing, nothing more to say, because Tackleberry's editing always is great. Nice outro too, that bouncing "Midnight" text was great.
- Nice intro, I don't know how did you make it, chroma key, cookie cutter thingy, I don't know, but I'd like to. It looked great.
- Nice music for a taxi vid IMO.

OMG how did I forget to comment on this vid Please forgive me Collective dudes, pleeease, pretty please.... with sprinkles on top .
First of all: A taxi only SA video, massive props just for going and doing it
Intro: I think it was extremely well crafted, it really worked and looked great.
Editing: The melody of songs was a brilliant idea and it was pulled off without a hitch, amazing, I loved it, such a creative idea. Editing itself was amazing, as to be expected from such a great editor. And also the visual quality of the vid was superb for the filesize too, nice.
Stunts: Cabbie2PowerTower@1:30 (nice new idea), TunnelMiB@1:50 (I just love MiBs), BoatLanding@2:00 (great stuff, couldnt have been easy), Wallie2Roof2Grind@2:20 (great idea adding the grind on the end), Wallie2Grind@3:15 (very nice stunt, perfect grind, great combo), BusBump2Roof@3:46 (the idea of putting the bus there was really smart, cool idea), CasinoWallie@4:00 (just a great taxi stunt), SewerGrind@4:40 (props for the massive distance in the air between the wallie and the grind), BusBump2Roof2@4:47 (another spot made great with the addition of a bus), SignLanding@5:15 (a really nice ending stunt). All of the stunts were really solid, they all worked together quite well.
Overall: The great stunts and editing made this an amazing stunt video. I really loved it. You guys have set the benchmark for any future SA taxi vids, and you set it very high. Great job all of you.
One More Thing: Thankyou heaps for the shoutout at the end, I appreciate it

You must complete 100 taxi missions, so you get Nitro + Hydraulics.
And for climbing, just use the nitro and tap the Hydraulics button.
