Sudden HDD fill-up
« on: June 27, 2011, 10:15:36 AM »
Well at first I had like 250GB of free space in my D:\ drive. Started FO3, played like an hour and stopped. I was randomly clicking folders when I saw only 50GB space left....wat? I didn't find any TEMP folders that would by any means fill space.
I'm on Win7 32bit. Next thing I'm probably gonna do is sum up every folder and see what actually happened. :|
Anyone of you ever experienced this?

Download WinDirStat, you can easily find which folder/file is eating up your space :)

Stop downloading all that Avatar porn then!

You might wanna check your Bios to see that it's picking up your h/d as a 250gig. Did you check the drive size before you installed? It may have always read wrong. Also you could have developed that condition that renders all instances of the number 2 invisible to your eyes...

...I'm sure you've all read about it.
