live blabla
« on: September 19, 2016, 08:03:56 AM »
Hello guys, I was bored today so I decided to throw together some clips I had on my computer. It's nothing special really, just a bunch of old stunts I was trying to land for a live video but I wont bother with them anymore. This section could always use some more activity so I thought why not post them.

Cool! So, what do you think about Dan's p2b? Is it possible? This attempt - p2b from Avalanche looks like done with FL-ON xD and finisher from Avalanche - is it harder with punched wheel or what it gives?

I'm sure Dan's p2b is possible as I had closer attempts when I wasn't recording, pretty hard though. Everything is fl-off I just kept getting these damn fps drops that's why the bike is shaking. Since I'm stunting on a crappy laptop I even had to use a capture card to record as fraps gave me like 20 fps to play with :P . About the pooped tire, I'm not sure if it makes a difference at that spot but I felt like I could do the runup better like that, although it might just be an illusion.

That second bail broke my heart. :P

Nice collection though. Maybe one day you'll come back to it. :)

Dan's p2b is possible but he modded it, I still not understanding why you pooped the front tires of nrg, it reduce your speed when you hit the ground, doesn't it? I don't know. Probably you was going to have a better attempt with the normal tires, I suppose.

Some painful bails here, I feel your "pain". Not that PAIN because those are old spots, but still painful to bail some of them
You mean if it slows you down when you're not RADing? It doesn't :P . Turning when not RADing is a lot worse though.

I've heard nVidia's Shadowplay is better than Fraps for recording/reducing FPS drops so maybe give that a shot if you want to do a live video.

Also that BB bail was painful to watch.

Good song indeed, a shame it's so short, here it is: http://youtu.be/eypNqJ5Do2c

BB top should be new. Also, thanks Blaze I'll look into that!

I've heard nVidia's Shadowplay is better than Fraps for recording/reducing FPS drops so maybe give that a shot if you want to do a live video.

Fraps captures lossless using the CPU, while Shadowplay captures lossy with the dedicated GPU. You'll have a performance hit on either of those components and the quality will differ (Fraps has superior quality).
The performance hit depends on the individual hardware setup, visual settings and what component the game/application is more dependent on. In a majority of cases the FPS reduction is lesser using Shadowplay indeed.

If the system's CPU has an integrated GPU, it should definately be used for live capturing using software like OBS. Configured correctly, there's no performance hit present and the quality is on par with lossless footage. This is an ideal solution for live capturing and integrated GPUs are present on almost all desktop CPUs/APUs of the last few years. The only issue I often see is people being unable to configure it correctly.

I love live videos because it gives a whole different vibe to me. I also really hope you continue this project, I can't wait to see the outcome!

Some painful bails. And I never knew that the P2B from Dan was actually reachable. Great job man!
