Final one is possible in SA (not all four rails obviously), tried it myself. Maybe all of them can be done in SAiVC, would be a massive bitch though .

It ain't possible in SA, believe me, I've spent a lot of time on it. (grinding from the second cottage, not the first)

So have I, you can get at least two rails. Third might be doable with FL on, but unlikely.

Does that not prove I'm right? Or is that what you're saying :P.

Proves how good you are at mod spotting after 11 years of stunting  (no effence) And you're telling me it's possible with fl on? THIS DISCUSSION AGAIN? You're so wild man!

I can't believe I'm still busting your balls after all this time  :(

I haven't stunted San Andreas in over 3 years, I'm very sorry you chose to mod though. I did in fact notice that it looked floaty, but didn't mention it precisely because I haven't stunted San Andreas in a long time. I have tried this stunt with FL off, and I know it is possible precisely because I and many others have been close to it. I haven't tried it with FL on, but from the first rail, that would make it much easier to do the double grind. If you can't do it, just try harder :jajaja:.

I would really like to see someone reach the second rail (directly from the ramp) in SA, I tried it myself for a while and it seemed to be impossible for me

Can't take your post seriously, SS. Giving me pep talk on basically how to /rad properly in sa and launch off a ramp/ if I just keep trying. I'm having flashbacks with the exact same scenario.

Maybe I've always sucked at the stunt basics of this game. REQ tutorial on naval bridge bump pl0x, i wanna do a deadcobra!

I'm sure the guy who posted beneath you (UndeadX) can show you how valid your claims are that landing in the water is impossible from the StopWatch ramp. I'm sure you'd love to see that. I am not the only one who has been close to this stunt either, if they see this topic they can speak for themselves. However, it is also not outside the realms of possibility that I am better at these kinds of stunts than you. I find it arrogant that you would claim your opinion to have further validity than mine simply due to your namesake, especially given that, to my knowledge, you have barely stunted in the last five years.

1, maximum 2 years of stunting in this engine in particular is enough to attain "master" status at a dirt simple ramp launch.

UndeadX got just a couple ft further than I did, and he still didn't end in the water. Multiple times. In 5-10 minute intervals.

Also if memory serves he used a different run up approach than yours (might be wrong here, can't recall)
If you've wasted so much of your teenage years, stunting 10+ hours most of the time like I did, it's pretty much like riding a bicylce. The most uncomfortable ass twisting bicycle I might add, you just don't forget it. (Well, at least I developped a severe case of melomania and audiophilia over those years)

Don't let me have the last word here, I'll give the beach spot another go just for the sake of such a sake existing in an argument which is forsaken. FFS

6 years later SS is still claiming he's better at driving into ramps than literally everyone else, i guess some things never change  Are you sure your copy of the game is not corrupted again??

UndeadX's runup is about 1/4 of a second longer than mine. Just like you said in your video a long time ago, the lane or runup length you use makes practically no difference. Mastering anything takes more than viewing it as a "simple ramp launch", for the same philosophy can be applied to a "simple grind", a "simple bump", a "simple cabbie boost", or anything. Everything has nuance, particularly a runup like this beach stunt, which is vastly more complex than the StopWatch runup, given the amount of bumps in the road and multiple drops before the ramp. I'm not going to argue with you further, it's fruitless. I did not come to tell you how to stunt, simply that this can be done in SA with a double grind at minimum.

UPDATE: To be clear, I am talking about double grinding from the first beach hut. I am not saying the second hut is possible, as a matter of fact, the first time I've seen anyone do that was MMM's attempt, but having not stunted SA in a long time, I didn't feel confident in saying it was floaty (especially since MMM hasn't released any modded stunts that I'm aware of). I was talking about the transfer between the first and second rail, which while tricky, is possible if you maximise speed on the runup. Sorry if that wasn't clear :P.

He did it differently than both of us actually, just watched it. He didn't break rads at all, resulting in a faster and a slightly longer air time over the grass section, therefore making the initiation of a second RAD obsolete, since he was travelling at just a slightly faster speed than with the usual approach (which both you and me used) giving him that needed edge.

FIN

my update:
Well, good job to both of us being so in-sync then. We were arguing about two totally different things. How on earth did you take it that I would say it's imposs to get the distance for a double grind, considering there have been quite a few double grind stunts nailed with much bigger stats ever since explo's finisher in chapter XIIVIZ(whatever), like mine for example under the vrock sign in LV. Yep, it was FL ON. You do get bigger bumps from grinds with less fps.

I hate you

As I expected, this time it was all just a big misunderstanding.
