Thanks lads for the comments..
I was totally blown away by the vid, mainly because I do like the music.
The vid was perfectly synched to it.

Props for all the hard work that was put in the mods for this vid.
I think it's a nice theme and it gave an eerie feeling to it.
I know there was alot time put in to create that stuff.
And the result was original to say the least.
I know I'm a bit biased seen the vid coming together like that, but I was totally blown away.

The stuff sent in was original and showed some flexibility of the members.
The lack of stunts I could contribute was greatly compensated by the others.
I am just glad that I finally nailed the bridgewheelie2grind (which is a bitch tbh, nomatter how it looks) and I got to be in this.

All in all a great stuntvid with awesome cinematics, accompanied (finally) by some decent music.

Nagual:

How long did it take you to do your combo in the awakening at the hospital roof next to VRock?

Well, I had stunted that spot for over a month. On and off ofcourse.
Though I spent quite some time on that roof figuring out what was exactly possible there.
It's a fun place to be stunting, that's for sure. I loved every second.

To Venomx:
I can't think of anyone right of the bat. Every stunter that brings something original to the scene or thinks outside of the box when it comes to stunting has earned my respect.
And no, I haven't seen Shrek III

newer members-

how did it feel to join ats and how did it all truly hapen?
People started asking me in crews when 'Connected' was released. Those stunts had been lying on the shelf for almost a year then and I wasn't very active. The awesome comments on that awesome vid got me stunting again.
By the time I had submitted a few stunts to 'One Mind' I was asked by Aries to join
DSU. The idea of being in a crew was never much appealing to me. So I declined.
DSU became merged with ATS and all of a sudden ATS wanted me in their crew.
I didn't like it at first. Sure it's ATS, but I always liked being 'solo'.
After a few chats with the members it became clear that I wouldn't have to lose any of the advantages that had come with operating solo. No fuss, no pressure; just talking about and having fun with stunting. At the time I felt it could really boost my motivation, seeing as I had pulled off what I still believe are my best stunts. But they made me put it all in perspective. It's the people that you stunt with that make it fun and worthwile, not the stunts themselves.

all-

what do you think is the most anticipated or breathtaking vid for vice or san andreas?
VC: Touch of a Samurai, Quattro and Connected (spot the Samurai fanboy )
SA: SA Smackdown, Flightgear and As One Again (I don't watch that many, but those are my favorites)

Quote from: KING
all-

do you ever feel pressure to suceed so much in stunting due to the high anticipation that you feel pressured?
The only pressure that is applied is because of my history with a certain stunt. I can get all emotional because I wanted to get the most out of my abilities.

all-

do the people askignt o join ats or when the next vid comes out get annoying

all-

does stunting get boring?

Kan says it all there.

ALL- is there any stunting method you guys are weak at?
I must say setting up the PSM is a real bitch.
But I think I can do anything if I would set my mind to it.
Although I don't enjoy stunts in which you speed up to a bump and hope for the best.
I like lengthy stunts if you could call it that.

And what keeps me motivated?
Mmm.. as of late it's sharing ideas with my crewmates and having a bash trying to see if an idea you came up with is (remotely) possible to nail.
Sometimes, when you're busy trying an idea, you discover that even more is possible. For instance adding a krail or a stoppie.
I guess the process of discovering how to nail a stunt and make the adjustments accordingly, that's what I enjoy about stunting.

It's no problem as long as the ppl that post shit like 'omg d-ling' post their opinion or better, a detailed review of the vid.

@ all

What/Who do you think is the biggest problem on this site ?

I have to concur with my crewmates. When you read some topic's back in the day you feel much more respect between newbies at the time and staff + veteran members.
Maybe that's the price to pay for an increasing number of members to the fora and the increasing level of intensity that comes with nailing serious stunts.
It has become more and more of a competition rather than a fun passtime, and that's how it's regarded by newer members I think.

What has beeen the most difficult time of your stunting career ?

That has to be the time when I suddenly lost all contact with Pep. I felt I was all on my own and the stunting together while having fun in MTA was a big motivation for me, I suddenly had to do without.
I recently went through a rough fase like Neo's; not being able to make time to stunt. Some pc problems and not being able to land a single stunt. (Although I set the bar pretty high, my ideas recently aren't picknicks. They require total dedication that I couldn't bring)

Quote from: Mickey!
Who would you like to have in ATS if you could pick one person and why ?

That's too hard for me to answer. I guess it's also not my place to speculate about it.

you seem like a mini family to me, so who is the Mum , Dad ,son or daughter  ?
Ps(we all know neos the grandad  )

Have you had any embarrasing moments related to stunting, i mean, while you're watching a stunt vid, lets say your mom / sister / wife / son / neighbor walks in and asks you wtf you're doing. Something along those lines. (all of you)

Nah  I keep my stunting on a downlow. I mentioned it once or twice to my folks. My friends all think it's cool and look out for new vids featuring my stunts.

Quote from: godson
ALL- which ATS vid do ya guys like or enjoy watching?
Good question Godson.
I was totally blown away by 'Game Over' at the time.
But once every while I open my 'ATS'-folder, select every vid in there and open them up at random.
Every vid has it's own sentimental value representing a unique phase in stunting history. (which goes for all crewvids I collected over the years too btw.)

Well.. don't take all comments too personal, keep it all in perspective.

The level of stunting you put in that vid is one every GTA player has 'had' before coming across the stunting scene.
Stunting has progressed from that quite a bit. Just hop on the bandwagon, download and watch a lot of (oldskool)vids, check out some classic spots and have fun trying to improve.

Props for the guts to post your vid and keep at it!

[edit:] ROFL I fell for that one... *slaps self* always check the post-date arrgghh  I ment what I said anyway

VC Stunting Challenges / best stoppie's
« on: June 07, 2007, 06:13:41 AM »
Whoa Stoppies!! oh what??? pizzaboy??

LoL, I did some stunts too in my day that it would take forever for somebody else to pull off.
You don't see me post them (again) here and ask for re-creation, do I?

It actually doesn't even look fun to be trying.

@Kingjad:

Hell yea we're (=I'm) looking forward to stunting there.. The railage from what I've seen in SA vids is massive. Imagine the line-stunting and combo-opportunities there .

Anyway.. I think that the impact it would make is about the same as LC. Although most stunting-techniques are alread invented nowadays and at the time the LC-mod was released stunting was still evolving rapidly.
Vice Andreas () will offer a bigger playground, but the spots will more rapidly deteriorate, although the limits of the engine can be explored even further with the coming of the new map I believe.

Bottomline: I can't fucking wait! [/Macca]

I have no idea what my records are.
I don't even have an idea how to exactly measure it, and I don't care for it much either.
My records wouldn't beat Max' Pizzaboy record anyway...

Do any of ATS have any regrets about anything related to stunting? (not personal lives - like Madmax's weird hairdo  )
*thinks briefly*
That must be not being so shocked to make it up the roof of the p2b in 'The Awakening'
(building opposite of NPM) that I braked to late to stop.
I slid off in a very gayish manner. Theftman could concur the setup of the packer is such a bitch. I fecking hate p2b's!
I'm still disappointed about not having had the chance to finish that second collab Pep and myself had planned also.

Quote from: Kert
Fancy bike .txd's or default skins?
I don't particularly care for any specific bike. I stunt mostly in a stock PCJ, But I hate the orange one  ....
(I liked the DSU bike at the time, looked great in the vid)

Quote from: Kingjad
What made you pick the stunter skin you stunt with? Neo's choice is obvious, so he doesn't need to answer
Leon is kewl. It's a nice detailed model that I thought no-one used at the time.

Greatest achievement in your real life? Or something you did that you are proud of. (all of you)
Mmmmm.... greatest achievement....
That's a tough one. It's probably the will-power I have 'developed' over the years. I smoked cigarettes, I quit that instantly. I recently gave up smoking the MJ, instantly.
And whatever I do I have to do it wholeheartedly. I strive for perfection. Not to brag or anything but that is was makes me like what I'm doing, and I feel good about it.

I'd love to see your first video ever, just to see how you guys started out.
My first vid is a collab with Pep called "Twos Tale". Check my signature for the link, I hope it's still working.

Quote from: Glen1992
All - You guys inspired me to start stunting. So who inspired you ?
I got most of my inspiration watching ATS-vids to be honoust. But Pep is my tutor to stunting, he all made it happen.

Quote from: Torque
Which stunt did each one of you guys spend the longest time doing?
I got a few where I litterally spend weeks on. The bsm 2 krail 2 grind downtown from "The Awakening" was a toughie. But I got to say the final stunt from "Connected": wheelie 2 bump 2 stoppie whip to grind. Well over 20 hours on that one. :S

Quote from: Glen1992
All - What was the stunt you had most fun doing ?
Most combo's I tried doing were very satisfying because of the intensity of keeping your concentration for a number of seconds while attempting, rather than bumping / crashing into bsm's, curbs etc. and hoping something good will come from it.
If I had to make a choice I would say the final stunt from Connected.
But the climax of nailing it after so long was unmatchable.

Quote from: Mickey!
if you seen me in real life what would be the first thing you would say/do to me ?
I'll have 2 big mac's, some french fries and a medium vanilla shake.
